Kmart Castle Hill- Terrible return experience.!nnI went in to return a beach chair, that I had bought a day before. I had the receipt, the product was in its original packaging and had the original payment method handy.nnHowever, the person at the customer service was unnecessarily curious about why I wanted to return and started an ‘interrogation’ of sorts. Apparently, returning something within a day sounded ‘unusual’ to the said individual thus rendering him ‘confused’.nI was able to get the return processed despite his obvious attempts to discourage it. The behaviour made me wonder what if this case wasn’t so straightforward. Had I got something that was already damaged, he would have made sure that I was stuck with it.nnNot sure if there was a deliberate attempt by the said employee to make the return experience unpleasant. It seemed offensive and a bit racist.nnDate of original purchase- 31/12/2024nDate of return-01/01/2025
So disappointed. Ordered stuff online for the kids for Christmas. They sent it out. Delivery never made it to me after numerous calls back and forth with the courier and kmart. For some reason the driver delivered it back to Kmart Castle Hill. Phoned Kmart Castle hill and the lady didn’t seem to really want to help me and got frustrated with me over the phone. Eventually told me it was there and I can come collect it . No one know why it did not get delivered to me. Boxes was so damaged. Not even sure I how I would wrap these as my kids would be disappointed by the look of the boxes. Just a horrible experience and I have ordered from Kmart before and have never experienced this before.
Worst service I have come across to disgusting my online order wasn't packed good it arrived damaged and not all my order arrived ontop of that they don't answer calls WOW castle hill kmart basshill is way better service i only ordered off ur store because the items where only available at castle hill kmart store NEVER AGAIN to shop at castle hill store experience is shocking.
The staff in general are rude as hell. An older lady refused a return for me because I didn't have the recept but had the exact bank statement amount which, according to kmart's website with the new policy changes, is fine.nnI go there a few weeks later it turns out the exact same lady is doing something similar for someone else! I'm assuming because this customer was a white woman.nnRacist staff, I hope their corporate come down and rehire the entire staff. This store needs a purge and often makes you think minimum wage is too high.
AMAZING SERVICE!! The staff are so sweet and kind, there was this beautiful young lady by the name of Antonia! She was very helpful with my shopping experience in Kmart. The items here are so cheap with good quality, and the service was amazing I will most definitley be coming back, beautiful and clean place.
