Lets talk about THE FISH. Being from New Zealand where fish n chips are the best.. The hoki fish is really good here. It's very tasty, delicious and flavourful. The batter could possibly be a little thicker but then again its crispy and still good as it is. I have tried many other places and this is the only place I would buy battered fish from on the gold coast.

Yes well the fish hoki was lovely along with the fat chips, I like the cardboard box packaging, absorbs excess greese, only thing was chip portion wasn't like it used to be and they stated it feeds two, maybe two children, not 2 adults. Haven't been there for a cpl years as moved out of area.Food: 5/5

Deliciously cooked fish exactly how a fish should be cooked . Nice crispy batter & moist yummy chips nice & fat ,Omg the lot burger massive Thank you to the cooks . Want a fish always ask for under done so they dont dry out/over cook it.

Fish was really hot, crispy and tasty. I strongly recommend the battered pineapple rings delicious. Friendly staff as well

We had a few good experiences here over the last year, would be one of the better joints to get a burger for the price but Saturday I suspect we got food poisoning. My almost 2 year old ended up in emergency short stay because of it.  The reason I believe it was this place is because the chips tasted absolutely foul, not just bad but foul. Nothing like chips we had previous had from this place or ever in my life. I tested a few after my first bite was bad but they were all the same, the rest of my family ate them before me and all got sick.  For reference our food was delivered by one of the apps.

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long while and being from Yorkshire, I love fish and chips. Hoki was beautifully battered - light, crisp and the fish was skinned, fresh and moist. The chip portion was huge - chips were thick, crisp and fluffy! We’ll be back on our next treat night!

Just damn good food all round, great Hoki, great burgers, great chips,  try the garlic chips but careful of the butter leaking  excellent everything, never had a bad meal from this friendly staffed shop   Kid-friendliness: Yes and the kids love the ice cream and nibbles available there

Just went here last night for the first time. I ordered the fish burger and my son just had the chips. Ended up getting really bad food poisoning as well as my 3 year old son! Really disappointed by our experience.

First time eating from this place last night and they gave me the wrong order. It was a ten minute drive either way. A $44 order. I ordered some bass and fish bites for the kids and a kiwi dog and ended up getting rubbery calamari rings and seafood sticks, yuk! When I called I spoke to 3 different people who all basically accused me of trying to get free food. I ended up driving 20 minute round trip back there to show them photos of what was delivered, they ended up giving me my fish but I never received or was offered the other things I ordered. The guy was rude and not one person offered an apology. I left very unhappy and won't be ordering from here again. Not even so much as a sorry! Terrible operation, sub par food and NO customer service sense. Avoid this place if you can!!
