Omg the seafood chowder was ON. Especially for a hang over. Garlic butter chips were so yummy, and the fry bread was just the best. Can’t fault this place. Even scored some kawakawa balm. So good!

Fantastic, tasty as, fish n chips WOW...Hangi packs so good. These folks cook with love and the extras paua fritter, cream mussels etc fried bread YUM. Seriously...Great job Hangi Pit folks, consistently FANTASTIC!!! Love your work!!!
Dined here for lunch on the 16th of October 2022. If you want a taste of home or some great fish and chips. Check out the Hangi Pit. Yummy, affordable, great kiwi feed. Thanks guys we will be back again! Fry bread is on point! The paua fritters have improved heaps and the fish are always generous portions. They're always understaffed so you go when you're prepared to wait. All tables and chairs inside that were removed during covid are still packed away so seating is outside. Plenty of stock in the drink fridge and staff are always friendly. Good "go to" when you're hanging for good and fresh Fry bread.
I wanted to love this, wanted to have a taste of home, but I can't lie, it was disappointing, I don't know what happened to the fish but it was just not good. Service was pretty good, but the food was a big let down. The potato fritters were not quite cooked, the chips were soggy, just very disappointing.Food: 1/5
Hangi Pit, Coomera Next door to Dream World. Fish and Chips, yummy fresh hoki fish and amazing batter, chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and a good serving. Hangi was perfectly cooked. Great freshly made trifle with real cream and custard. Hubby loved the THICK Lime Shake. Cheese & Onion Toasted Sandwich was just like home! Really enjoyed eating here, thank you and keep up the great kai Hangi Pit! Well worth the visit for great food that tastes like home.
