First time there. Went for dinner.nAll staff were very friendly though.nnThis was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time.nBig fat juicy Sirlion cooked med to well, just as requested. And the same for my girlfriends med/rare. And Big fat chips.nnCompliments to the kitchen staff and whomever purchases the meat.nnDefinitely will be going again.nGood job and keep it up.
A chill, laid back tavern.. Come as you are lol I got a steak that looked like the shape of Australia excellent sized meal size
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Helensvale Tavern. It was a particularly busy day, but the service was fast and friendly, and we couldn't fault the beautifully presented meals. Crispy Skinned Salmon and the Chargrilled Lamb Rack. Kudos to the chef!
Went for meal at the Tavern on Sunday evening and noticed that they had brisket as a special. On a side note I almost never ordered it as it said brisket with bok choy and mushrooms with no mention of mash. Anyway I asked if I could get a side order of mash with the brisket and when it arrived it was on a bed of mash so there was no need to have placed a side order. I mention this as people may not order it as there is no mention of mash.nThe brisket which was a large chunk was amazing and tender. I will be ordering it every time it is available.nHopefully they will have it more often as it is the first time I have seen it on offer and we visit fairly often. Generally have the barramundi or fillet steak which have always been good however this was next level and you seldom see brisket on offer.
This tavern is a marvellous place to dine.nPrice are very reasonable, for adults and children alike.nThe meals are delicious and ample and the choices of childrens meals are great and substantial. The meals are prepared and delivered promptly.nThe staff are so friendly, obliging and efficient.nWe have become regulars.
