Ken's Bento Box

I liked the chicken in a cup. The first good sign is when there's a lot of people around any eatery in a food court. They were pretty quick with the order, can't comment on other items in the menu but I reckon they are pretty popular

Bento boxes are very reasonably priced and from what you get it’s worth it. Staff are friendly & efficient. Menu is also very easy to read and doesn’t inundate you with options and extras like a lot of places do now.

This place has the BEST grilled salmon nigiri. There’s quite a bit of rice compared to other places grilled salmon but I really enjoy it. It’s always grilled the perfect amount and has a good amount of sauce. The tuna rolls are also one of my fav for takeaway sushi. Best sushi place in macqurie

Worst attitude and below average food. My wife handed $50 note and they kept $25 for themselves without giving us the change. I asked for the change then they asked for my phone number so they can call me back after reviewing the CCTV footage. What a joke. Me and my wife stood in front of the shop ans waited the whole time for them to review the footage. We got the change with a very brief apology. The staff who handled our transaction has kept her mouth shut and no apology made. The salmon and avocado had hardly any salmon in it. This place is to avoid at any cost. Pay with credit card and to ensure how much you are paying or pay with correct cash, otherwise they might keep your change.

Came across this place at Macquarie Centre’s food court. Tried their spicy pork bibimbap takeaway and was impressed. The portion was generous and it’s quite tasty! They have some premade rice boxes, sushi and fried chickens too, if you need something quick on the go. The premade meals are just so-so but considering how cheap they were, not too bad.

It’s food court food. You know when fried rice is just a few pieces of veggie in it, that’s a good indication its food court food! It tastes ok but my sushi roll was a little small.

Horrible food quality. Dishonest business. Short-changed. Bought two takeaway dishes for $14 total. I handed over a $50 note to avoid the credit card surcharge. They gave me $26 change. It was supposed to be $36. They short changed me by $10. Luckily, I figured something wasn't right. I mentioned it to the worker giving them the benefit of the doubt but their response wasn't like they made a mistake with the change. They instead replied with "Oh yes, $10" and immediately went to give me my change. Reading another similar situation below, this restaurant is purposely and blatantly ripping people off. Food is rubbish too. Threw it out after a few bites. Avoid this dishonest place at all costs. Not worth the cheap takeaway.

Not sure why the reviews look so low on one of god's gifts! The honey chicken is too die for as well as the the perfect fried rice. Sizes of sushi and plate portions were very large in contrast to the very cheap prices. Would eat again!

Spent over $60 on pretty ordinary food for the kids after shopping. I asked for a paper cup to share the drink with my daughter, the lady wanted to charge me for it, I felt the way the lady asked was a bit rough and money grubbing.

Pros: Wide variety of choices. Food portion is good. Asian food with happy hour offers. Many staff. Everything is quick and instant. Location is good, just on the food court. Grab a box, eat and shop. Cons: Not tasty. More oily. So would prefer boiled food over this. But for snacks it is fine. Staffs need to improve the taste.
