I was curious to try a 'different' burger joint, especially one who's right beside 'grilld' This 6 months joint is located where BK use to be. Dining space is wide and service was moderate. Price? Midly cheaper than grilld but not much. The burger is minimal or as my first bite... I remarked "It's oook. It's good, not whao but ok" Disappointingly small however.
I'm shocked by how good this place is. I've returned several times in the last few weeks. Reasonably priced, but small burgers. Expensive and average drinks. Most importantly, among the most delicious vege burgers I've ever had.
Chicken katsu burger was decent. Chips were pretty standard but too salty. And the thickshake came in a puny cup, which is too expensive for almost $8.
Decent burgers with a good range, but expect to pay a premium.
Would’ve given the burger a three but the thick milkshake was solid everything gets forgiven for a salted caramel milkshake THAT thick.
After trying this place multiple times now, I can say that only specific menu items are good. For burgers, you have to stick with the classic and choose American Cheese. There's something about a greasy burger that makes it more appetising than the rest. As for comparing it to how American it tastes, it is probably as good as it gets in Australia. The thickshakes are unique in flavour and was too thick for me to finish it all. Fries are not as crispy and just taste like your regular fries. The service is great. Even though there are no waiters, the person who served me at the counter checked up to see how my thick shake was because I asked her what the flavour I chose was.
The burgers are quite good. Location is a bit too close to the bus stop for my liking, and the seating is not very comfortable. For some reason I feel like the burgers from burger project world square tasted better. Sitting outside does expose you to the elements a little bit on bad days
The bacon was delicious on the Bacon Project however someone forgot to add the full amount of beef to fill the bun. Very underwhelming for the price. Not the experience I was expecting by far. Other local burger places are far better quality and more so value for money.
Tempted to give two but i might be biased as burger is hardly my thing. It tastes okay and good to see that the use grass-fed beef. The burger in a bowl with extra lettuce is really interesting in a way... Personally I wouldn't want to order another one but some of my friends would come here again. All in all, it caters for certain groups of burger eaters I suppose.
Decent burger with juicy grass fed beef and crisp pickles and onions. Would have preferred streaky bacon in the burgers than the bacon used which was dry rather than delicious and crispy. Poor service with a bunch of staff just walking around aimlessly.
