I recently celebrated my 60th birthday here, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, organising the event was smooth and stress-free thanks to Sean, Emma and the boys. The food was amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the atmosphere was — fun, festive and truly memorable.nnI couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate such a special milestone with my family and friends. Warm and welcoming service.nFood was authentic, flavorful and delicious. Amazing African cuisine!nWe shared several dishes and enjoyed the tasty honey chai tea.nWill be back!
I expected a larger serving for the Biscoff Latte which cost $6.50 but it might just be me and the cost may be reasonable to others. It was good taste wise and I enjoyed it.nnBunny Chow was not served hot to our expectation so lamb pieces on top were room temperature and when we dug to the centre, it was lukewarm. We also expected the bread to be toasted so that it is crispy or crusty on the outside but this was not the case. If this serving style is typical of South Africa, then it is definitely not to our liking.nnI must add however that the taste and texture of the lamb was very good... it was tender and aromatic, just not hot enough for us.
Friday feels, impromptu lunch at this little piece of food heaven! Thank you to Sean the executive chef for looking after us today, your new restaurant and shop is fabulous, the steak cooked to perfection and the biltong with the dessert....speechless. It doesn't get any better than this. Do yourselves a favour and give this establishment a go.
Have been visiting this place for years now and it just keeps getting better. Finally branched out from my usual choice of bunnychow and tried the Flintstone rump. It was amazing! Beautifully tender piece of meat cooked to perfection
