I visited here with my family and tried chat buffet. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. Service was excellent. Everyone liked everything in chats including chole bhature, dahi vada, pani puri, sev puri, dahi puri, vada pav etc.nnWill definately be back and reccomend everyone if you want fresh delicious food in reasonable price
The second we walked in, we were greeted by shoes and socks scattered across the floor… which honestly should’ve been our first warning sign. The table we were seated at was dirty, and the entire place felt unhygienic and poorly maintained.nnAfter waiting over 30 minutes for our food, my mum literally found a flea in her meal. A FLEA. Absolutely disgusting. While walking to wash his hands, my dad noticed old food from earlier in the day still sitting out cold, untouched, and clearly not cleaned up.nnTo make things even worse, the bathrooms were filthy. The whole restaurant just felt dirty from top to bottom. After eating there, we all genuinely felt sick.nnEasily one of the most unpleasant dining experiences we’ve ever had. This place seriously needs to improve its hygiene before someone gets properly ill.
people giving one star have never worked in hospitality during peak hours. It is a restaurant obviously it is going to take some time for food to come out??? anyway food is of good quality very tasty, however portion size could be increased a little/ balanced. we received 4 curries and all 4 of them were of different volume. volume should be the same for every curry. one curry shouldn't fill up half a bowl when the other curry fills up the whole bowl.
I’ve spent a significant amount of time in India and am quite familiar with Indian cuisine, especially South Indian food. My wife and I discovered this restaurant about three years ago and were delighted to find a place serving authentic South Indian dishes. We are strict vegetarians. We became regular customers.nUnfortunately, about a year ago, we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. We returned yesterday, hoping things had improved, but were very disappointed. The onion bhaji was soggy and clearly reheated rather than freshly made. The dosa was thick and lacked the crisp texture it should have. Even the jeera rice, a simple dish, had lost its usual flavour.nIt seems likely that there has been a change in the kitchen. It’s genuinely disappointing to see such a decline. Unless there is a noticeable improvement reflected in future reviews, we won’t be returning. There is a lot of negative reviews. I hope the owner will notice this and do something about it as it is not easy to find a place specialised in South Indian dishes.
We frequent this joint from time to time - enjoying good Southern Indian food. However, this time around, we find the food quality has dropped significantly. We uber eats chicken chettinadu and a few other curries and briyani. The chicken chettinadu had a very unpleasant smell/taste, it's like they've used old coconut milk. Suffice to say we stopped after our first bite and hoping we don't get sick from it. We won't be coming to your restaurant again. Buyers beware!
