I like coming here because it is peaceful, not noisy and chaotic like some other places. I tried eating the chicken feet for the first time today - have been aversive towards eating chicken feet in the past after trying it somewhere else - and the texture and taste converted me. Very well cooked and tasty. It's probably one of the best. And the pan fried radish cake is full of real chunky radish, very soft in texture melted in mouth. I really appreciate that the food in general isn't as salty as in other restaurants, and the staff are always friendly.
Service was nice. They close at 3, we came in at 2.15, was told kitchen is closing so we had to order fast which is understandable. Left at around 2.50.nnThe price for some items were a bit on the higher end, but that's alright.nnSomething about the fried wontons did not taste right though, I don't think they were fresh. Xiao long bao was pretty good. Har gow tasted alright but fell apart very easily, either it was oversteamed or the skin is not cooked well. Portion for the congee was big so that was our save.nnUpdate: went home and re-fried the wontons, and they taste okay so I'm guessing the meat was undercooked. Maybe they were rushing to close at 2.20?
Dimsum here is very convenient as you don’t have to queue up if you arrive 12pm or earlier. It can get busy later on. Good quality is pretty good and so is their staff service. Very quick and attentive. They bring the food trolley around and you can order special dishes too.
Went to Yum Cha House after our friend birthday, the food were actually very nice, clean and fresh.nnThe staff were very helpful and friendly. Even tho we had to waited about 10-15 minutes for the table but it was worth it.nnEvery dish were very nice and well prepared with quality ingredients.nnMy kids love the food. Highly recommend
This place has a good balance of price and portion sizes. Came on a weekday and it wasn't too busy, so we got our food pretty quickly . Ordered our favorites. Everything was fresh and steaming hot . Food was excellent and wasn't salty either. Definitely no MSG. Can't go wrong with this dim sum house.
