I don’t know if it was the staff on tonight, the fact it was later in the evening or what, but the service was atrocious, the prices are outrages $42 for fish and chips?!? There was ONE gluten free option listed on the menu which was steak. We ordered the potato salad for $22 and a child could have eaten it and still be hungry.nServers were honestly kind of rude and short and the atmosphere outside looks quite inviting but inside it looks like a plain old sports bar. The one positive i will give is that the food came out very quickly within about 5-10 minutes however, we were one of the last orders of the night. Food also did taste good but absurdly overpriced.
I have been to Burrendah Tavern many times and I have always had a good meal. I especially enjoy the chicken parmigiana with the arribiata pasta. You order at the counter food and drinks but they are pretty quick to bring the meals out. The drinks are reasonable price and I tend to get two meals out of my parmy as it is a large serve and I bring the leftovers home in a supplied container.nI recommend booking a table as it does get busy on weekends.
This place is exceptional. Been coming for 25 years. Never have a sub par experience. Tonight's meal was probably the best I've had here. The steak was heavenly. Thanks guys.

This place has always been a local classic, everything is decently priced, drinks are good and the service is friendly. Especially the guy that always has like 7 pens on his shirt - legend.
