I had dinner with my family.nI love Laksa. This is best in Perth.nOther food were sooo good.nMy kids love sweet sour pork.nStaffa were soo friendly as well.nDefinitely will be back soon.
The food portions here are quite generous. The taste is okay, nothing particularly stands out.All the drinks are surprisingly delicious.
Dropped into Bamboo unannounced and had no booking. Waitstaff were very helpful in finding us some seats. Place is renovated, I like the new look, seems more welcoming and look more 'hawker' style. I ordered the chicken sweet corn soup which was a little too salty for my liking. My main was the Chow Mein crispy noodles, the sauce was glossy and delicious, the prawns well cooked with a nice bite to it. Also ordered hot Teh Tarik, but unfortunately it never came and I didn't have time to re-order waitstaff took this item off my bill so I wasn't charged.
This restaurant serves Singapore hawker food. There are many choices of food to choose from. We ordered Penang fried kway tiaw and Indian fried noodle. The food portion is big and very filling. The penang fried kway tiaw is nice but lack of wok taste thus not very authentic. The Indian fried noodle is a bit too sweet and lack of spicyness.
Haven’t been here since they renovated. Had very good and fond memories of this place especially their horfun which used to be very good and their Hainanese chicken Laksa.nnOrdered their horfun and their Hainanese chicken Laksa. The Laksa taste was still like what it used to be but the Hainanese chicken is more like poached chicken strips. Their horfun had no wokhei taste whatsoever. All I could assume or guess is that the chef must have changed.nnHad their drinks and ice kachang and must say their drinks and desserts taste better then their food.nnCan’t really recommend this place as their food is pretty average. Although their food is pretty good value but their taste doesn’t hit the spot like it used to so it’s a no from me…
