I don't know why I always expect McDonald's to change. In the old days when McDonald's was purely fast food, the food wasn't great but tasted good and you knew what to expect in regards to the food and service... Now, I only ever seem to have issues... Between thickshake machines being broken or in cleaning mode constantly, a 24 hour McDonald's running their day end process and not being able to accept payments, sending me to another in another suburb for service whilst not notifying me that the particular 24hr maccas were closed, coupons that need to be used by the self serve terminal that don't work and staff not knowing how to accept it manually or why it's not working, everything on the menu besides a few things being tasteless, even one where I stood there waiting for my food for ages then only to be told I had already been served (mate! Do you see me eating right now!). The list of issues goes on, its always a drama. This review is more to do with McDonald's as a whole in Australia rather than this individual one. I am just a big believer that for a company that has is heritage based off the pricipal that you order and get your food within a very short space of time, if I simply walk up asking for a large Big Mac meal and a large caramel sundae. After I pay, that to me should be the end of the transaction. Why am I constantly having to deal with issues like we can't do this, we don't have this blah blah blah. And seriously guy, day end process where cards can't be accepted! We are well into the new millennium, we are moving closer and closer to a cashless economy and your system can't handle cards whilst it's offline and uploading data. Come on, there are ways around this and how can you claim 24 hours if you can't accept orders unless they only have cash, don't order ice creams, thickshakes, frozen cokes and no coupons..... McDonald's is the only place i have ever made an official complaint as I'm not going to complain about minor issues or when someone is just having a bad day, but after I made said complaint, to get no reply at all, now I want to know why you even have a complaints department. I'm done with my rant now. Maybe now with the McDonald's app they could push me a notification when I'm near a McDonald's that the stars have aligned for and cam actually serve the menu they say they can serve.

Update ... thought I'd give it another go. I seen a big sign right at drive thru speaker advertising BLT Big Macs so I ordered one but they said they didn't do them anymore. I told them about sign they said we don't do them but I can pay extra for bacon and tomato so I accepted that.. My Big Mac had a fugly tomato and no bacon. Never again. EVERY single time I go through drive thru..they either give me the wrong order or in some way stuff it up and the fries are always only half full .. usually I'd just suck it up but its gotten beyond a joke now that im actually taken the effort to right this review..after getting home and finding a different burger than the one I'd been craving (i did check quickly before i left but it was correct box just not correct burger) it's a shame as I find the staff very happy and polite
