JB Hi-Fi Springvale

It is a relatively quiet JB compared to the others. But the staff are really friendly. They come to me to ask if there's another help I need, and which movie is great, etc. I also love the way they arrange blu-ray & dvd together, maybe because the movies section has shrunk recently year, but anyway I love this arrangement. Much easier to find movie, saving me time to walk all the aisles. But in my opinion, if they can separate the 3D version from the rest, that will be ideal.

Very disappointing service. The worst customer service representative that I have ever spoken to was Mr Dame at Springvale JB Hi Fi. Very rude and unprofessional. He wouldn't mind not having the product sold but the attitude will definitely sell in a negative stream. I will still be able to buy my GoPro Hero 6 at another store. But would never return to this store anymore.

Just bought a tv off Damon! He was knowledgeable, informative and had a can-do attitude! Made the buying experience a breeze. Highly recommend seeing Dam and the staff at JB Springvale! Thanks guys.

Went there for an S8 screen protector (2 pack) that I already had in mind, some sleazy salesguy convinced me to buy a more expensive $40 protector (single) boasting it was so good and easy to install...that he has one himself. Got home to put it on and turns out installing this piece is like trying to break Da Vinci's code. This was after I watched a video tutorial for it as well. Now that I think about it this guy was just rush rush and didn't even give any tips or tricks to install this particular screen, just tried to make the sale didn't even have any passion in his tone, acted like a know-it-all.

So I was looking for a handlebar mount for a Gopro and I decided to try this place since it was just before Harvey Norman. I walked in and started looking for the Gopro accessories. There were three sales reps chatting in the middle of the tech department. To be honest, I'm not sure if they saw me because I was more focused on looking for the thing I was after. Maybe they didn't because they were too busy chatting, who knows. The security guard actually directed me to the correct area where the accessories were. I took a handlebar mount and went to the three blokes chatting amongst themselves in the middle of the tech department. The list price was $49, but I asked if they could do a better price. One of the guys scanned it and said the best they could do was $47.50. He told me that price was near cost price and that there isn't much of a profit margin on Gopro accessories. I wasn't sure if that was reverse psychology or if he was actually telling the truth but I left it there and went to Harvey Norman where I found a bigger range of Gopro accessories. I took a mount and that's when a salesman came to me and asked if I needed any assistance. I asked him if they could do a better price, as HN had the same mount marked at $55. He took it to his computer and told me he could do it for $45. You can probably guess where I bought it from. Moral of the story: It's always good to shop around for the best price, but if you're looking for something which both JB and HN stock, you might be better off skipping JB, especially since the sales reps seem to prioritise chatting amongst themselves over customer service.
