Jaycar Electronics Springvale

Helpful staff even though I only just got there before closing. They've got lots of things here, from individual components to electronics kits, a wide variety of batteries and power supplies or inverters. They've also got radios, drones, fans and more things than I can list. If you've found this review you've got internet access so go to their website and search.

remember when the covid lockdowns were on and this store had the doors barricaded shut like zombies were going to attack them? Theyd open the door far enough to slip your online order confirmation in, then slam it shut and scurry off like something out of "I am Legend" then come back and throw your order out the barely opened door onto the table out the front. Thats not the annoying part, the annoying part is they were unable to accept the jaycar trade card over the online ordering system and still can't so they were actually charging us MORE to be treated like we were diseased dogs. How easily frightened by the media these people were! Did any of them die? Of course not.

Robert was so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure I walked out fully prepare for my home project. Thats what I call exceptional customer service.

Pretty decent range, friendly staff. Can never compete with internet businesses for range or prices but they're a fair spot for getting something on the day. Website now has reliable stock tracking, so I can check whether they have what I need before leaving the house. And when I call ahead they're always happy to put something aside for me. They have a surprisingly good range of kits for learners or for putting together a modular project in a hurry. And prices are good for a retail shop.

After visiting the city store and getting no help I went to the Springvale store which was the total opposite. Polite, helpful and worked with me to solve my problem leaving a very happy customer. Thanks

Women beware: or don't if you want to revisit the 1950s, to remember why we've moved on. Really disappointing that the several times I've been there the male staff seem happy to stand around talking to the old dude bros and comparing phallis lengths, presumably, and telling each other how pretty they are. I really resent having to shop there, and would prefer to buy literally any where else, So I won't be. Jaycar has a serious customer service issues, especially around women. The staff don't seem to think our cash has the same value, so clearly you don't need mine!

I went into the store with not a clue as to what I was doing. I knew what I needed but really no idea of how to use it. The young woman who served me could not have been more helpful. She took time to explain it to me in a way that I understood.. I left the store feeling much more confident than when I entered.. I only wish that I had noted her name..

John was amazing. Installed a new battery in an old dustbuster for me which I thought was going to have to be thrown out. Couldn't recommend him & their service highly enough. Excellent value for money. Thank you John : !

Great range of electronic parts and tools

Very disappointed with your store, as lm a trade customer with a business but l don't have a trade card, shop in your store always as we like to support local businesses but l was refused service because l didn't have a trade card but lm wearing a business top anyway all good l will just take my business else where. Thought businesses were all meant to help each other and support one other with what's going on in our state at the moment
