Scorptec have really got their customer service workflows down pat. Everything from their website to their in-store collection process is streamlined and efficient.nnThey generally always have stock of the products you need and they’re conveniently located all across Melbourne. Including weekends like this Saturday afternoon visit, which as you can see was an in demand time slot.nnI joined the virtual queue was wasn’t waiting too long until I ordered, paid and collected my product. Well done team Scorptec.
The showroom is beyond amazing. Lots of setups to show off soo many options of things I didn’t realise I needed!nWent in to buy some monitors I thought I had googled the best ones for my needs, Jake served us, explained everything so clearly and handled all the curve ball requirements to help us find exactly what we actually needed. 10/10 service and experience. PS give Jake employee of the month and a bonus. Will be back for more stuff!
Instore environment is very welcoming and interesting to walk around, Purchasing process is smooth also.nnUnfortunately the specific pre-built setup we purchased seemed to have a small issue which made it difficult to use.nnWe managed to find some time to bring the unit in on the weekend and after speaking with Jake over email he was in store and happy to help us with a on the spot solution which really made Myself and my partners day.
I had a good initial experience with Jake, the sales assistant, who was helpful and supportive during the purchase process. Unfortunately, things went downhill after an installation issue, which may have damaged the motherboard. What should have been a simple father–son project ended up feeling quite stressful and discouraging, especially with how the situation was handled afterwards.nnI was quoted $150 for repairs through their service process. After checking directly with MSI, I was given a significantly lower quote of $80 for the same issue. Because of this, I chose not to proceed with Scorptec’s repair service. I had also considered purchasing a replacement motherboard through them, but ultimately went with Centre Com instead, who were able to price match.nnDuring the after-sales interaction, I also felt spoken to in a condescending, dismissive manner, which left me belittled and discouraged rather than supported as I tried to resolve the issue.nnOverall, while the pre-sales support was good, the post-sales customer service and handling of the issue left me feeling quite disappointed and uneasy. Based on my experience, I would recommend others carefully consider after-sales support options before purchasing.
Really helpful people. There was a unique issue with my order and the way Mitch from the Clayton store handled the situation and sorted out the problem was incredible. Well done mate. Their service is really good, friendly and helpful.
