From talking to Trevor and Bodie to my time with Narele, my experience at Jayco Cairns has been amazing and wonderful. My wife and I are now the proud new owners of our Lark Outback. The process felt very smooth to me, with no hard sales pitches, or trying to upsell something that we couldn't afford or didn't need. Talking to the owner of the franchise, Trevor, felt like catching up with an old mate. His patience with enthusiastic first time owners who couldn't stop talking about where they wanted to go and how good it would be to stay in luxury was appreciated. Bodie and I bonded over setting up the camper and our fondness for prospecting and fossiking. His knowledge and stories were entertaining and made me feel I was talking with an old friend. Narele was amazing when I came to pick up my new Lark. She explained everything about the finance and insurance comprehensively, but her best quality was that she made me feel like I mattered more than the sale. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and also threw in a new awning at no cost simply because it was on the camper when I looked at it. I will recommend Jayco Cairns to everyone I meet who is interested in a camping or touring option. There is simply no one better. I will definitely be using them for all my camping upgrades. Thank you Jayco Cairns and thank you anyone who has read this far. The length of this post should tell you how thrilled I am to have dealt with the best.
Contacted these people regarding a 1985 Jayco Dove which needed a replacement wire for the wind up roof only to be told we dont work on vans that old and will not supply what you need to do it yourself .Thanks for your help you arrogant ...... So much for supporting local business and I would never contact you lot ever again. I ended up getting a full set through E'bay.

Jayco Cairns are a great team, helpful and knowledgeable. From Narelle in sales through to the service crew. A BIG shout out to Bodie. We met him on our first visit when we began our research. He is a straight shooter, knowledgeable and patient! He remained so during our numerous visits "with just one more question". He helped us make an informed decision to choose our New Journey Outback which we love. We would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a van to go to Jayco Cairns and ask for Bodie, you can not go wrong.
The lady on the phone tried very hard to get us an appointment at short notice for an inspection in the high season. Everything went very well and we were very satisfied except for the bill The amount for the service was right but they have hefty surcharges for separate work. They had to replace a bracket with 2 screws that was done in 2 minutes and charged 32 A$ for it. On our request it was said that all additional work costs at least 32A$. also for refilling the gas bottle 32A$ without gas.
Cairns Jayco are fantastic. Friendly staff who give excellent advice and service, and they have a very good range of caravans on display. We’ve bought several vans from them over the years and they have always been great to deal with.
We called this branch on the way up north with a problem with our StarCraft. Helen was very helpful on the phone and said to call in and they would do their best to help us, which they did as soon as we arrived. Service man was equally as nice.
We had an a problem we noticed when leaving Tully, we rang and were given great advice. Then they told us to drop in as we arrived in Cairns, 2 hours after dropping the van in we were under way. Very happy
