Got to shop with 20 minutes to spare only to walk out empty handed in disgust because some prehistoric bozo insisted on arguing that what i wanted didnt exist (1uF ceramic capacitor) instead of just saying they didnt stock it, and that I was out of line for refering to there website instead of the printed catalogue to see if they stocked a specific IC. Till now I had just accepted that Jaycar was going down hill but was atleast handy in a pinch - from now on its just a given that i need to get components online (rs components free overnight delivery)

This is a very useful store to have on hand. The staff know their stuff and are always helpful. As others have said parking is limited but that does not deter me from returning.

The Crew @ Jaycar Thomastown are absolutely fantastic. So helpful and very knowledgable, even when they are very busy they make the time to answer questions. Thanks guys

The parking is a little small. Well laid out shop and staff are great to talk too. The price might be a hair more expensive on some lines, however the company is a one stop shop for electronics needs.
