Wide variety of products at decent prices, they have everything from industrial components, toys and gadgets, electronic kits and educational items. Staff are all knowledgable. I go here quite often. If you buy components, do the staff a favour and write the part number down. They'll love you for it. Minor niggle is the small car park.

I live in Aspley, and seem to always have some sort of electronic project on the go. Make no mistake...I GUARANTEE I have been to the Aspley store more than any other commenter here. I have always found the boys there to be very knowledgeable on the products they stock. Prices are what you'd expect from a "Boutique" electronics store...Yes you can source cheaper online...but the convenience of being able to walk in...grab what I want...ask for advice....pay and take the product home...more than outweighs the cost savings of buying from Ebay. Jaycar Aspley is my "GO TO" place for all those little DIY projects...Love the store...Love the staff....

Guys were very condescending. I walked in, looked around and found what I needed. I took my purchase to the counter where I was asked multiple times if anyone had helped me(it’s an open store with short shelves and they weren’t busy, not half obvious I received no help). As he was scanning my purchases he sat a step down transformer I had picked up off to the side and stated this is not what I need without asking a single question about my needs and tried to push one over double the price to me. When I refused and asked for the one I had picked out, he refused to continue and asked the assistant manager to come talk to me. I explained the two minor uses I had to test equipment I had brought from the states and I knew exactly what I needed. The assistant manager was much more polite, but again we go through the same circle that I know nothing and I need to double what I’m spending for no reason. I’m finally gave up, bought the few cables I needed today, and left without my transformer. Very poor service and I will not be back.

Someone that appears to be a senior staff member there has no people skills whatsoever. I found it easier to get into the car and go elsewhere despite the convenient location
