Had an Onkyo receiver that needed a warranty repair - they went to bat for me with the distributor after the distributor initially refused to cover it as I had bought it on Amazon (which I understand - thankful that they ended up agreeing to cover it). When the replacement board arrived, had it back within 2 days. Great experience! Must add - John also upgraded the firmware while he was at it. Didn't need to do that, but appreciated the extra touch

I have just had my hi end Amp repaired by John and was a little apprehensive about proceeding after reading other reviews that were not very flattering. I have just experienced the best service I have ever experienced. It was in on Monday, parts ordered same day, parts received on Friday and installed the following Monday. Picked up today being Tuesday. One week in total including 4 days freight for the parts. I was advised every step of the way. This is the Old Fashioned Service we used to receive. Well done to John and his team. Highly Recommended !!

I have had the best experience ever! Brought in my Faulty AV Receiver on Friday and picking it up today (Wednesday). This guy knows his trade, highly recommended.

When my 5 year old A/V receiver failed, I thought it was probably going to be easier and cheaper to buy a new one. But in the end my receiver was fixed in one week, covered by the manufacturer, by J.W. Electronics and I couldn't be happier. Excellent service, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

One star is more than they deserve. This place is hopeless. They take your equipment and leave it stacked up with piles of others till it collects dust, while you wait, thinking that it is actually being fixed. He takes on more work than he can deal with, but won't employ someone to help with the workload. Extremely slow service. Expect to wait at least a month for your equipment to be looked at, and another month or two for it to be fixed, or worse to be told that he can't fix it due to lack of parts. Money must be paid up front - then you're held to ransom waiting to get your gear back, for months. This is not a business - it's an extortion racket.
