Great customer service and very fast, but got my laptop back horribly scratched like someone put stuff on top of it and didn't really take care with it. It's a matte finish dell gaming laptop so the scratches are obvious and quite deep. Otherwise would have given 5 stars for the stellar front of house staff's service and advice.

PLE used to be this poky little outlet in Bentley. Now it's a multi-store chain of the best priced computer kit in Perth. The folks who work there know their stuff, and won't mess you around if the hard truth will help you out. Case in point, I ordered a budget CPU for a real swish motherboard erroneously - I'd changed the design and forgotten to change a part. They said I was just about committing a crime against technology, and suggested a cheaper yet just as viable board - but also took a moment to ask what my requirements were, and plans for the machine before proposing a solution. You don't get that kind of help at a major retail chain. Or online. It's that no-nonsense, enthusiasts helping customers approach that has kept me coming back since 2006 or so.
went today to get advice on increasing wifi range and ended up buying better modem from them with the option of returning if it doesnt solve my issues. the young man was awesome and very helpful and felt better after i'd just been in the retic shop next door and been treated appallingly.

I ordered a motherboard online, they said they had it in stocks when I ordered, next day I go to pick it up they say it's out of stock and I would have to wait. They took it and gave it to someone else even though we ordered it and we assumed they would put it aside.

Amazing customer service, they are very patient and help to get you the best deal possible. Most things are in stock so it's the perfect place to buy your computer components!
Very long wait for service at not busy times. When you finally do get service the staff give the impression it is a privilege for you to have them serve you. The vibe of the place hasn't changed for years. The staff come across as wannabee LEET H4XORS ungraciously putting up with NOOB customers until the staffer's gaming breakthrough happens. That and a customer payment and returns system that makes Soviet era GUM department stores look positively efficient and friendly.
I bought a power unit which turned out to be faultythier techy confirmed. Took it back and the replacement they gave didn't work so I went back thier techs checked the third one and they said it worked before leaving the store it didn't. My pc works with other power supplies and I tried the units I got from them in other towers they didn't work in them either. I went in for the fourth time trying not yell. I wasn't helped at all. They wanted me to pay for them to fix everything even after all I had been through. The manager I talked to said in no uncertain terms said it must be my fault. I will not go back here ever.
