I absolutely love, The Good Grocer of Canning Bridge! Every week, I make it a point to swing by during my workday just to grab their Ciabatta bread—it's heavenly when toasted and slathered with real butter, especially alongside a cup of tea.nnThe store is also my go-to for quick, emergency meals that I can stash in the fridge for those nights when cooking feels like a chore. And let's not even talk about their apple turnovers; it's a real exercise in self-control not to toss one or two into my basket every visit and scoffing on the journey back to the office.nnEven though I'm coming all the way from Secret Harbour, it's worth the trip—just like their sister store in Leederville.
Out for a drive @ 01:45 did see New Name at former IGA Canning Bridge. NOW thegoodgrocer, turns out Still IGA but just name change. Must be Same Owners though, as NOTHING FRESH in Hot Food area, just left overs ftom lunch & dinner, not fit for sale only the Bin Salad bar was uncovered + looked a Mess. from me. Used to come for a fairly good Roast Lunch few years back, was ok feed for $10 then went up to 12- $13. Going by what I've just seen, wouldn't come again Nor recommend to anyone = Over priced like Most shops, in times of hardship ... poor form I reckon.
One of the best IGAs in Western Australia. Great produce and amazing variety - they even get seasonal cheeses from France when they are available. It’s also open 24 hours a day, so any time you have run out of something, just go down and get it. The staff are usually great and if you time things well there won’t be very long lines at the till.
Always guaranteed great produce, excellent service and usually bump into someone you know.
This place is expensive, produce a bit hit and miss. Doesn’t matter anymore don’t intend to use it.
