Extremely rude old man who runs the shop. He demands for customers to do HIS SHOP WORK for him. I picked up an item from the shelf which was clearly listed $2.99 but the man wanted to charge me $4.99 as the 'tag was old'. So I told him that I didn't want the product and I removed it from the items I was purchasing when he told me "Go put this back on the shelf don't make a mess". It's extremely rude of him to treat his customers like this and didn't even say please. I walked out on him and didn't purchase anything due to his rude behaviour. Will never be going here again!

Great for groceries like pickles, poppadoms, rice, lentils, chickpeas,spice,samosa etc good range good price.

Do not purchase any electrical item from this shop as we bought a wet grinder for spices and grains but when we tried it at home, it was useless. We returned the item to the shop 2 days after purchase and was told that they don't accept electrical items back even though it was faulty. They don't even offer a manufacturers warranty or exchange policy. The owner and his wife said that once an item has been purchased, they won't accept responsibility for it. After 10-15 minutes of arguing with the owners, we offered to purchase another wet grinder and pay the difference in price which was another $90. The owner originally refused to exchange the item but then changed his mind after we wouldn't leave without the exchange. The owner wouldn't issue another receipt and only offered to write on the old receipt the extra $90 paid for the other wet grinder. He wrote on the receipt that the item must not be returned or it has no warranty. We will never recommend this shop to anyone and felt totally disappointed as a consumer. Although the item was imported from India, all products should come with a warranty or manufacturers guarantee. The owners refused to honour any items purchased from their store. SHAME ON YOU LOTUS INDIAN GROCERIES - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
