This supermarket treats you like a thief if you have darker skin. They watch you like hawks esp the rude older tall security guy, as he stares at you constantly not taking his eyes away. The owners are the same. VERY EXPENSIVE and hardly any variety. The meat can be off sometimes, but looks good on surface. I only go there in emergencies as COLES has variety, better quality and reasonably priced.
It has an in-store quality butcher and a very big continental deli as well, a small fruit and veggie section. Plus all the usual IGA grocery stuff.
Better than all other shopping places by mile
Do NOT purchase any meats from here, be it cold meat from the deli and meat from the meat department. Tonight we bought marinated chicken and as soon as we opened it , the smell was shocking ! And was still in the use by date on the packaging? This isn’t the first time it’s happened to us on several occasions our cold meat had a funny smell and had to chuck it away! I hope the owners/management are reading this and take note before you land in hot water and end up giving someone food poisoning check your bloody meats. My family and I will never buy anything from your shop again. Loyal weekly customers lost!
Good variety of stock at reasonable prices and very friendly checkout staff on the register.
Beer is great, same with deli goods are amazing and affordable, thinking, may need some quality international foods andor further respect to European heritage.
Our local IGA supermarket. It gas a friendly, local atmosphere. Parking is easy and free. It's fairly compact with a wide range of produce that is not available at the other big supermarkets.
Good parking at the back of the store. Happy and kind staff Fantastic deals in the veg, meat, and deli section. Lots of specials and impeccably clean.
Decent deli with lots of cold meats, but the staff can be rude. Rest of the supermarket is rather limited in range and the fresh produce often not overly fresh.
Staff are really friendly and chatty to the 2 people in front of me and the person behind me. Get to me and they are so rude, after practically getting snarled at by the guy stocking the shelves. This happens every time I go there. What's the problem, is it that I look a bit different or that I have tattoos? It really makes for a bad day when first thing in the morning you have people being rude for no reason. Not to mention, along with the Coles, they are the most expensive and poorly stocked supermarket I've been to.
