Today I visited the Aldi store in Bundoora and was very disappointed with the customer service. The cashier at register 2 did not greet me, make eye contact, or acknowledge me during the transaction. Instead, she was having a full conversation with her coworker while serving me. At the end, she handed me the receipt without even looking at me.nnWhat’s especially frustrating is that the store offers a self-service option, but I chose to go to a cashier to ensure someone could ring up my groceries. It’s customers like me who help ensure jobs like hers still exist. A simple “hello” and “have a nice day” would go a long way in making customers feel valued. I hope this feedback helps improve service at the store.
It's location is relatively convenient and easy to find, although I found that it can get very cluttered in the underground car park and it's not very easy to maneuver a medium to large size car. Otherwise it's relatively decent Aldi in all other aspects.

My family and I recently shopped at Aldi for the first time, and unfortunately, it will be our last. The cashier asked to check our bags, but the way it was done felt unfriendly and rude, leaving us very uncomfortable, almost as if we were being accused of stealing.nnI understand that you have policies in place, but I don’t believe this method effectively prevents shoplifting and instead risks offending customers. With proper training, staff could handle these situations more tactfully, reducing the likelihood of customers feeling offended. Because of this experience, we've decided not to shop at Aldi as long as this policy is enforced in such a manner.nnAfter reading some reviews below, it’s clear that our experience isn’t unique, which explains the level of service we received. Who’s to blame? Not just the staff, but the managers as well. But does management care? I really don't know!
Great Store, But Unfortunately you can NOT TRUST there Lift there Keep that in mind! If your game enough by all means use it!
