I had high hopes about the motel, I arrived and the foyer looked lovely and online the photos that were attached made this place look better than it is. Very basic there was no utensils, toaster, cutlery or even a jug to make myself a coffee. The staff didn’t even go to the trouble to make the bed probably all it had was the bottom sheet on the bed and we were expected to make it ourselves. Would not stay again! Very very basic accommodation.

Excellent location and service. Being out of Canberra means it can be a lovely big place spread over beautiful grounds, however still only 20 minutes from the City Centre. Great for families or school groups. Rooms are dated and need an upgrade but clean.

I am a principal in a school and have just returned from a camp in Canberra where we stayed at Ibis Eaglehawk. I was told by staff members that they were a 'nut free' camp. I have students who are anaphylaxis and nuts is the trigger. We were served a dessert with walnuts on top. I am still waiting for an explanation from management on how this happened and an apology. No one from Ibis management was available to talk to me on the next 2 days after the incident. Luckily no one ate the dessert as 
 I over saw all the meals and my students were safe. However this is not a 'nut free' camp. Be aware!!

I have stayed here for over 30 years but this stay yesterday was disappointing. We stayed in Room 185 and the smell was overwhelming when we first went in. We normally stay in the Family rooms. We stayed in one room with two separate rooms and a kitchen and it was modern and we loved it. But low rating this time. Whole place is dated. Old furniture in the Breakfast room. Little choice in the shop.  And over run with rabbits. Felt itchy in the bedding. Mould in the shower. Just grotty. Probably stay elsewhere next time. Unfortunately this has changed my mind. Drive way was full of pot holes. Rooms not clearly marked. More signs with directions PLEASE.

My daughter stayed here for a school camp. Although the rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom and the shower were small. The service staff were less than friendly and the meal servings were small.
