Get what you pay for. Smallish rooms but clean enough. Only complaint it's that there is nowhere to put bags - a major oversight given that most of the people passing through are either arriving from or leaving via Auckland international airport. 

Check in and out was extremely easy. Vending machines had a good variety of snacks. Car park was large and easy to find a spare space. Coffee shops within a minutes walk for the morning pick me up

No hair dryer or iron in room. Very small rooms, couldn’t open window for fresh air, shower did not drain, so had to have quick one. However bed was comfortable, no airport or traffic noise and staff were mostly helpful.

We arrived in Auckland Airport at midnight and had booked the Ibis beforehand as it was close to the airport. The price is cheap compared to surrounding hotels. The service was great but we only really had 2 interactions with the staff. The room itself has adequate for the price. You get what you paid for so it was a budget room but had all the essentials for an overnight stay. They offered free internet for 2 hours or 500MB (whichever came first). This helped as I was yet to pick up a SIM. There is a Countdown supermarket in the block next to them so was convenient to pick up items in the morning. There are also things like a bakery and some fast food outlets in the same block as the supermarket.

Location was amazing. The 15min walk from the airport was perfect or you could pay for a shuttle but it is a nice flat quick walk. There is a countdown across the road for supplies and it is also a 10min walking distance to a few rental car places. I was on the 5th floor and didn't hear any planes. Nice, quiet, clean and had everything we needed. The room was spacious and modern.

Location is great for a stay before an early flight. Good restaurant outside and Countdown grocery store. Small rooms and no extra pillows makes it feel surely "budget",  but works well for final stop-off before a flight.
