We had a fantastic experience here. The lady at reception was excellent, she kindly let us check in 5 hours early after a long 27-hour flight from the UK, and even went out of her way to help us with SIM cards. For £40 a night, this place far exceeded my expectations. The room was a little cold, but the air conditioning worked well to warm it up.nnThe only drawback was the uneven parking area road, which could use some resurfacing. Other than that, I really cannot fault the place for the price I paid. Some previous reviews seem misleading, but I understand everyone has different expectations and experiences. Based on ours, I’d definitely recommend it.

Very tired old place. Needs a fresh scrub and paint job. Curtains need washing or replacing. Bed linen, shower and toilet clean and tidy. We were in a cheaper room so don't know what more expensive one's were like. Staff polite and helpful.

I have no issues with reception - they were lovely. But to go into the restaurant with a 2 babies under 2 and they forget to order our meal? This Hotel surpassed all my expectations. It was one of the more inexpensive options, and based on my previous experience, where we paid considerably more, I wasn't expecting much. The location is a short drive from the airport. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, and the linen and beds are quality. Everything you need for a short stay or a launching point for your next adventure. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they have a quaint restaurant and bar that serve reasonably priced fare. It's not super flash, but it's flash enough for a few nights of comfortable convenient accommodation. I would highly recommend this option.

I was disappointed with the service at the Airport Gateway Hotel. It was difficult to get clarification when trying to make changes to our bookings or room types, and overall, the service was disappointing. We had to fetch our own clean towels and face cloths, as there was no room service available.nnThe TV was malfunctioning, with only half of the picture displaying. The shower door didn't close properly, which caused flooding if not secured correctly. Additionally, the mattress protector was badly stained, which was quite unsettling. Overall, the experience was very poor, and I do not plan to return to this hotel.
