There were multiple car parking bay's available at the front of the store. Excellent customer service. I was having issues with pairing a wireless headset to my macbook & they told me to bring it into the store & they'll do it for me & with the friendliest customer service she was successful in doing so. I'm abundantly grateful to the Harvey Norman online & in-store support team :
I really like shopping there. The woman at the counter is always welkoming, smiling and very kind. Today i bought a kettle and a coffee machine, I was served by a young girl named Amen sorry if spelled incorrectly She was very helpful and patient with me even if i changed my mind every five minutes. She gave me the best for my new purchases guarantee and was very professional all the time. Thanks guys!
As a returning customer, I’m always so happy purchasing from this store. Today, Sales member Adrian in bedding was awesome. He listened to what I wanted and delivered. He was kind, happy to help and made the transaction seamless! Thanks !!
I complained to Harvey Norman before posting this review but they did not respond to my complaint as of today. This is a review of the Broadmeadow store & manager Claire. TL;DR: take your money elsewhere! They are overpriced with terrible customer service. We purchased cash close to 10,000 dollars worth of furniture most of which was not in stock. We were assured that they will let us know once it is ready for delivery and that they can hold it for us for a delivery date to be advised by us. They also advised that they were going to hold for us for an additional fee for storage to which we agreed. Months later we were informed that the furniture had arrived but delivery needed to occur within a week and that they could not hold it for us and that there is no such service. As a result of this short notice, we had to run around trying to make space but eventually had no choice but run around finding a storage place. This caused us a great deal of undue stress that should not be part of the experience of purchasing brand new furniture. This store needs to educate their staff about correct process and procedures so they can communicate this correctly to customers. Lesson learnt: They are overpriced with terrible customer service so I will be shopping elsewhere. This place is not recommended.
Went there to look for furniture and was assisted by Rupin, she looked after us and went above and beyond all our expectations. She listened and suggested the best options. She gave us plenty of time and answered all the questions we had. What an amazing staff you have working for the Broadmeadows store.
I was charged for steam iron which I ordered online , first an order confirmation email was sent, later on they sent me an email to select an alternative item as it was out of stock. I replied saying no, and requested for refund though emails and calls , but no response yet. Bad customer service.
Today went to Harvey Norman the Broadmeadows branch to purchase Nutri bullet had the offer going on . They also sell furniture and floor tiles for home. There is lot of parking space available . The customer service needs to be improved a lot . I was there for more then 10 mins and I thought I will find the product easily . So went to ask one of the staff and when there to ask and have to wait next to them and ask for help . They were busy discussing the week end plans must be very important .
I ordered for Mitsubishi aircon units to be supplied and installed all over the phone as it was a bit far for me to travel but this Harvey Norman was the closest to me. Tony was amazing. Gave me a great deal and managed to sort it all over the phone for me. Next day delivery and following day, the installers arrived to put it all up for me. Tony was friendly, polite and easy to communicate with. Very happy with my experience with Harvey Norman through Tony. Highly recommended!
Hi there, yes Tony helped me today and went above and beyond all expectations! His attitude to his job and attention to listening to the customer was amazing and I was truly blown away! What a nice guy you have working for your store. I walked out feeling totally satisfied with my purchase, after having no idea about the product when I walked in.
Terrible customer service experience and false advertising. I recently went into Harvey Norman Broadmeadows with my partner to purchase a free standing oven. Even though there were two staff members that were free and had seen us, they simply looked at us and smirked like we couldn't afford it. Despite this I continued to order a free standing oven from Harvey Norman online, which said the oven was in stock, after paying for the order though, the website quickly changed to out of stock and I was informed that I would have to wait for the oven to be backordered. After waiting approx. 2 weeks I reached out to Harvey Norman asking for an ETA for the oven, however was only told that it had been ordered in a voice message. being fed up with the inadequate customer service, I have tried to cancel the order, only for Harvey Norman to stop communicating with me, and giving me no indication of a refund. Save yourself time and money and shop with a more reputable, customer friendly business, that doesn't try to scam you and treat you like a second-class citizen.
