I found the couch I wanted at this store. We waited more than 30 minutes before being assisted by a friendly middle-aged staff member, who helped us as soon as he finished with other customers. Even though other employees were around, busy on their phones—maybe checking online orders or chatting with colleagues—I understand that each staff member has a designated area to assist customers. It would have been nice if someone had at least come over to acknowledge us and let us know that help was coming rather than just observing us from a distance. However, the man who assisted us was great, and our order process went smoothly.

I picked up my Westinghouse front loader in the morning, set it all up, then realised it’s a faulty unit! The motor hummed, but the drum didn’t move, hand rotated it to check bearing, no problem. Suspect motor issue. Called Westinghouse online service, of course the call center is based overseas, after 10mins not so smooth conversation, a technician was booked to come to my house in a week, but I needed a working washer immediately. I visited my local Harvey, despite of the washer was purchased online, Troy, the store manager, offered a return for replacement straight after I described what happened. What a pleasant experience! I had it done seamlessly at the Mitcham warehouse, went home, set it up. Bang! It is working! And it seems like a nice and quiet machine!
Poor customer service from the furniture department. We were standing there waiting for assistance and a guy saw us, but continued looking at his phone..then when we walk closer and said hi, he proceeded to come and then quoted a price only slightly less than the advertised price..we visited another Harvey Norman branch and got a much better deal for the same furniture. Don't waste your time and money here. Find the other store close to Nunawading for a better deal and friendly service.
We’ve been coming to this Harvey Norman for many years. Just want to give a shout out to Henry - he helped us with getting our new fridge. He was very knowledgeable with the differences in various models and was respectful in the process. To be honest we were going to order the appliances online because we are worried about the sales pitch but Henry was nothing like that. He gave us time and space to weigh up our options and that’s why we came back to him to make the purchase. We are glad to be served by Henry and we’ll be back again for our washer and dryer combo! Very happy customers
