I was having trouble finding a suitable photo album as I had made my photos slightly too big to fit the album I had. I enquired at the counter & met a lovely woman called Cat.She went out of her way to help me.Even cut my photos down to size to fit the album .She couldn't have been more helpful. Her customer service was amazing. I highly recommend her
We did a few purchases here lately, all the staff we dealt with were very helpful and gave us information which helped to figure out which products suited best for our needs.
I went into the photo centre today and there was, I believe a woman with an Australian accent behind the photo counter. She was terribly rude, spoke very loud and talked over me and interrupted me when I tried to ask a question . She repeated how she says the same things hundreds of times a day. I told her i was trying to finish my sentence then she told me she can read peoples minds before they even speak . Seriously, this woman was rude, spoke way to fast and had no patience with any of her customers whatsoever.
Ordered a Television on the black Friday sales before we came to NZ from Australia. They sold out of the stock and refunded my money about a week later. Due to the currency rate change and it was an expensive tv at the time, I lost $230 dollars in the transaction, didn't receive an apology or any compensation. Contacted Consumer NZ but they couldn't help me either. Be aware, JB Hifi will get stock in for you, this god forsaken company will not.
We bought a very expensive fridge freezer. The service was really good during the sale process. However, as we needed a new gas bottle for the water filter, it was said that Harvey Norman does not sell them and we have to go online to order from Australia. This was not mentioned during the sale which might have influenced our choice of appliance. It is a shame that the after sale service did not continue at the same level and that the customer is left to find their own way to get the required products/parts. It will be great if HN can improve on their after sale service as not everybody is confident or have the trust to order products on line.
Very efficient and friendly salesman who was so helpful explaining everything to me. I'd always go to Harvey Norman for any things I might need.
A shout out for Bala in the photo and computer department. All round super service - competent, friendly, and informative - absolutely deserving of wider recognition!
Good range of products. Often good specials worth following up. Some products out of stock, with fairly long waits for delivery from Christchurch or elsewhere. Parking: Really is plenty of it right outside the door.
Have always had great service from Harvey Norman stores. The Nelson store is excellent and all staff I have dealt with here have gone above and beyond
