Fabulous coffee & hot chocolates! Chai Lattes are amazing too!! Yummy counter snacks and awesome art, plus beautiful gifts for everyone. One of Nelsons best coffee and art stops for sure!!

My fave Nelson coffee haunt. Lovely staff and great (fair trade) coffee. Make sure you order a cheese scone & then grab a spot outside in the sunshine.

alberto lombardo ESPAÑA La experiencia de su peregrinaje por América, Turquía, Túnez, Egipto, Marruecos, Grecia, Holanda, Francia y Alemania deja una profunda huella en su arte y determina su vocación artística.Alberto Lombardo nace en Messina el 25 de Diciembre de 1953. A los 17 años se traslada con su familia a Turín donde inicia su carrera artística.Durante varios años, Lombardo viaja por el mundo: América, Turquía, Túnez, Egipto, Marruecos, Grecia, Holanda, Francia y Alemania. La experiencia de su peregrinaje por estos países deja una profunda huella en su arte y determina su vocación artística.En 1994, Lombardo llega a Tenerife y decide establecerse en la isla. Conoce y visita confrecuencia al escultor y pintor canario Arnoldo Evora, y al pintor madrileño Carlos Sanz. Realiza numerosas obras y decide dedicarse exclusivamente al desarrollo de su arte, a través del cual y mediante las distintas técnicas que elabora, logra expresar su particular visión del mundo.En Noviembre de 1996 en el Parque San Francisco de Puerto de la Cruz se organiza la primera exposición del artista, y sus obras son definidas por la crítica, como expresión de un surrealismo mágico. Tras la exposición, varias de sus obras son adquiridas por personas locales y de nacionalidad alemana, siendo pues Alemania y España los dos únicos países de Europa por los que circulaban hasta entonces obras del artista.En los meses de Agosto y Septiembre de 1997, el pintor presenta una segunda exposición propia suya, dando como título "La Puerta del cubismo Mágico", donde Lombardo manifiesta varias técnicas que resultan más agradables al público, permitiendo la introducción de sus obras a otros países europeos tales como Finlandia, Italia y Francia. Las exposiciones y sus obras despiertan la curiosidad y la crítica en varios reportajes de prensa local e internacional.Lombardo ha desarrollado una técnica única de colores con la cual genera una fantasía interior a cualquiera que la esté disfrutando. Su arte es tridimensional, duradero, terapéutico. Existe una excitante mezcla de culturas. Cada obra lleva un mensaje particular en su lenguaje propio pinturesco.
