My family and I visited today for my grandfathers birthday. The food looked very nice and some of it was but the service from the lady plating the food was unnecessarily rude. My husband asked if they could make one of the savoury crepes without the sauce as he is allergic to anything mayonnaise based. The plate came over with sauce on the side and we asked to clarify that there was no sauce in the crepe. The waitress wasn't sure so she took the plate back to confirm. When it looked like there was some confusion between the staff my husband approached the counter where the lady plating complained about "fussy customers" not realising that my husband was there within earshot. When she turned around he explained that he was allergic. And left it at that. This is in my opinion unacceptable customer service. I won't be choosing to come here again.

The place was ok, but not on par with all the other breakfast/coffee places we tried in Nelson. Not worth a second visit.
