It's best drive in theatre around! It's also the only one around... Dodgy roads and amenities but the screen is huge and the sound quality through the radio is nice enough that you'll ignore all of that and enjoy your couple of movies. It's alright to visit every now and then, also it's good to bring a car with a large open back to sit in.

The whole idea of the drive in is cute... But not this one . With the predominate car type being the SUV, and the drivers mentality of having the back hatch open whether needed to be or not, makes for blocked viewing in general parking areas. The deteriorating ground breaking up into dirt and dust leaves you dirty as cars negotiate around. No signage for the exit or directions to leave, has us concerned about emergency evacuation. A very stereo typical kind of clientele visits this place... And they are not necessarily the most pleasant. Asking someone to close their hatch that they didn't use (they sat in seats behind the car) left us feeling like Barnaby Joyce in a media scrum.. The screen is in need of repairs, amenities are old, it's convoluted to find things, the neighbours complain about the noise (fair enough) and its no point arriving early to get a 'good spot' Now.. If you happen to go there when there is a full moon, or close to it... be prepared to be staring directly at the moon for most of the movie. It rises from behind the screen! It's blinding. Obviously a poor decision at the time of construction, not necessarily from current owners. But hey .. This is a great place to see rows and rows of SUVs parked neatly in long stretches, towering over the smaller sedans, where the occupants eventually realise they would have been better off chatting to Tony Abbott all night. Great fun for the family, lots of Nostalgia for those who remember coming to drive in as children themselves. Nice little café and as we sadly discovered they have a man on site who jump starts your car if you have an old/faulty battery after leaving the lights and radio on. We go regularly, it's also VERY affordable!!

Last of its kind in Perth. Very cost effective on Tuesdays (pay per car) and fri-sun (two movies). Lots of new choices. Be mindful of sundown timing. If your movie is very dark (like Batman) visibility isn't that great for the first ten minutes.

We LOVE the Galaxy Drive In! Steak Rolls are divine! Obviously seating is comfy and I can sit in our car however I like and not disturb anyone!
