Frank's Cider

Went to see the stand up comedy (which was pretty good) and discovered this hidden gem in Franklin. Good cider in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. I'll be back to try the food, which looked good

Great spot! Bypass the very commercial Willie Smiths and stop here at the unique, quaint and authentic feeling cafe and cider bar. Free tasting paddle and great food with a family feel. Lots of history here and the food and cider is better!

Great place to catch up with friends over a light meal and nice cider - their cherry cider is beaut!! Small but interesting menu and small "meals" - my mate had the Salmon platter by himself which I think was meant for two. Nice setting and relaxed atmosphere.

Arrived at lunch time to find 8 other customers. The staff appeared unable to cope with the number and we should have taken the hint and departed when an elderly gent approached the counter to remind the staff he had not received his drink as ordered. The staff were abrupt and almost rude to the guy. The menu consisted of 5 items, hardly comprehensive, however we ordered 2 items along with 2 ciders.During this ordering process the 2 male staff were arguing. Sitting outside we were presented with our food order but after a further 15 minutes had to remind the staff about our cider order. So sad, great location but the service was abysmal and the food, what there was of it, only average. We won't be returning.

Brilliant. Great atmosphere and they went out of their way to match our menu requests... with very tasty outcome.
