Amor is a multi-award winning cocktail bar situated in North Hobart. We are open Wednesday to Saturday from 7pm and have a free function room for hire.

Mission

Amor……Spanish for ‘love’.

Perhaps just because we like to be a little different, or simply because ‘Amor’ starts with the letter “A” which lends itself to being at the top of most listings.

Amor Cocktails number one ingredient is love, followed by 60mls of good quality booze (not the standard 45ml used almost everywhere else).

It was our first pubbing in Hobart, we enjoyed the time well spent with the musician oops forgot the name, kristy Harding was the wonderful person through out the closing time, we Shared our cultural heritage and experiences, we had a wonderful evening after long time, Wednesday s the best time to go, as no one was dance floor, musician played some Bollywood music, the bar girl was very kind and helpful. owerall wonderful evening
The security guard did not let me in just because I’m no Australian. And because I’m not a white guy. I waited outside and I saw a group getting in. That’s not true. I invite you to check the the camera and demand if I did what you say. Cheers
I don’t recommend this place, my friends and I tried to enter and they refused with no reason. And now they said that we punched the window, which is not true, we only got a “not tonight”. I guess they made a mistake and confused us with another group. I invite you to public your proof
it's sad to find places like this in hobart where you're not allowed in because you're not Australian. Can you call the police to show the video? that accusation seems like an excuse not to have responsibility.
Pretty cool atmosphere etc... But when we complained about a cocktail we had made which tasted off, the who I found out later owner looked at us & said extremely arrogantly "well you don't have to drink it you know"...other staff were nice
Good cocktails. Have the best karaoke night
Not bad. Reasonable price
Perfect venue for a party. Had a great night on the dance floor which was nicely separate with its own DJ. Loads of atmosphere rather than just a room.
