I can honestly say, I have never come across such a rude and unprofessional team of people in my life. I am dumbfounded at how I was treated as a tenant, and frankly disgusted by their complete lack of personal skills. I took a complaint with my Property Manager to her Supervisor and was met with the same arrogance. The Leasing Agent also had no qualms in lying. I would strongly discourage anyone from renting through First National Cairns and I will be taking my complaints and concerns further. The stress and anxiety caused by this company was completely unacceptable. Another case of renters being treated like the bottom of the barrel.

Horrible rental experience. When i moved into the property, The property manager sarah said you will get the new dish washer which never happened, and when i asked for Vacuuming machine to be fixed, she said she will talk to the owner and get back to me which never happened. I broke the lease for personal reason, and new tenant moved in after one week. I tried to get the bond back for more than one month. No response for my call or email request. when i finally reached to her, she said the amount the bond i will get and I disagree, then, she mentioned to talk to the owner and get back to me. She didn't get back to me for 2 weeks. When i called her after 2 weeks, She said totally different amount of the bond(a lot less) that i will get back. I'm taking to the tenancy union once i get the email from her. As a person who has been renting the property for 10 years in Australia, I've never had this bad experience with the rental agency. I highly don't recommend to anyone. Very disappointing

First National has been my preferred office to look after my investments properties for the last five years. My tenants have also always been looked after. In comparison to other agencies I have dealt with - they are a cut above the rest. Easy to see why they are "Number 1 for Customer Service".

Very unprofessional. Congratulating us on successful application for rental, then few days later texting to say application unsuccessful. Told us later, they gave the unit to someone else. Said they sent the first email by 'accident' . Then, that person didn't end up moving in, so asked us if wanted to re-apply. Said yes, and never heard anything else again. These people are either incompetent or dodgy. Reception so unhelpful. So glad we didn't sign anything with them. Seems we're not alone with poor treatment, theres many other reviews out there detailing bad experiences. Steer clear of this mob!

Very painful experience with this agency. Air conditioner in the main bedroom is broken since 27th of November. I was told that we need a new one. I have been told every time I rang them or sent an email that there is no response from the owner. Now they won’t even bother replying my emails or calls. Told by one of there agent that this is an acceptable time frame and I should wait for further 4 weeks (thats 2 months in total) before I should consider taking any other action. It’s being hot as hell and I cant even sleep in my own unit anymore.
