Story

Our guests tell us we are one of the prettiest parks in the country. We offer spacious camp sites, cabins and motels in a mature parkland setting in Fairlie where our 4 star plus Qualmark rating assures you of clean, high quality facilities. There are a range of accommodation options to choose from all enjoying free internet access.

Many of our guests take advantage of one of our specials and make us their base for 2 or 3 days while they explore the region. Get your feet wet and investigate the braided Opihi River running close by the park or take a stroll down the river walkway. Best of all, sit and relax while you listen to the birdsong.

There is plenty to occupy the kids with the playground, sandpit, snakes and ladders and our 3 hole mini-mini golf designed by Lenny and built by Dad. Oh, and did I mention the free internet?

Not sure what other people are talking about, we had great service from the staff for our stay. The prices are great and reasonable for the facilities available.  We have stayed multiple times and never had difficulty finding a toilet or shower to use even when it’s early afternoon!nKeep up the great work

What a charming warm bolt hole for weary cyclists. THEY LEND YOU A DRY TOWEL FOR THE NIGHT. . Hot showers & a functioning kitchen with heaters for supper. Good value for money at $44 for the tent. Easy walk to village for food, bakery and cafe.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairlie holiday park. We were there on the new year's eve and enjoyed enthusiastic co-travelers there! A lot of cheers and partying got us also in a new year mood. Kitchen and other facilities were good and overall nice experience.

Great spot. River one side, park the other and close to township. Only thing was the toilet blocks were Locked from 11 till 3. I am guessing it's because of the park next door and no caretaker on site

This place was not even worth rating even one star I just had to give 1 star to post this review. From the beginning the staff were incredibly rude, I would recommend that people do not stay here and if you do decide to, record your conversations because they can’t take responsibility for their own attitudes and rudeness! They also over charged us!nnAs for the facilities, there was only one toilet for the cabins, which means having to wait to use them more frequently than not. The toilets smelled bad and were really dirty and they had a shared hand towel instead of paper towels to dry your hands which is seriously unhygienic for a communal space! The cabin also only had mixed gender showers, which poses a safety risk when with creepy guys following girls into the bathroom, which did happen!nnHonestly it’s not worth the stress to stay in this place and be treated the way we were
