Essendon Keilor Gymnastics Academy is allows people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to experience fun, fitness and friendships through the sport of Gymnastics. EKGA is privately owned and operated.

Story

At Essendon Keilor Gymnastics Academy we have three goals: To Teach Gymnastics, To Make it Fun and To Keep the Kids Safe. We are a family-owned business and understand what families are looking for at a gymnastics club. We know preschoolers want to have FUN and have friendly coaches. We know school-age gymnasts want to learn cool new tricks and make new friends. And we know competitive squad gymnasts want to represent the club and they want to WIN!

EKGA Gymsports are an amazing group of people who are dedicated to getting the most out of kids in the many forms of gymnastics. The staff are always willing to offer suggestions, work with you and most importantly care about what is best. Love this place and everyone involved!
We’ve done the kinderplaynastics, kinder and now school age program and my children have loved it and looked forward to it. Great engagement and empowerment. Lovely cos he’s who build great rapport.
My son started gymnastics at EKGA early this year and he is enjoying it and making a lot of progress. His coach Lewis is very responsive and gives clear instructions for kids to follow. The website also makes it easy to look for timetable and make up classes.
We made the switch to Essendon Keilor Gymnastics Academy two and a half years ago, and our daughter hasn’t looked back since—it has truly become her happy place! EKGA gave her the opportunity to compete in AGC competitions, which was one of her big goals and something that wasn’t offered at her previous club.nnEvery coach our daughter now 9 years old has had at EKGA has been fantastic—caring, experienced, and professional. We’ve been especially fortunate to have Coach Breanna each year. We honestly can’t speak highly enough of her. She’s kind, encouraging, and has worked incredibly hard to nurture our daughter’s confidence and belief in herself.nnWe also love that EKGA is filled with strong, positive female role models for our daughter to look up to. She’s formed many wonderful friendships through the club—friendships we hope will last well into her adult life. We truly believe these bonds are a natural result of the warm, inclusive, and supportive environment EKGA creates.nnWe’re so grateful to have found EKGA!
My two kids love EKGA, my 13yr old son is now a Competitive trampolinist, but started off in the preschool classes.nnMy daughter, 6, looks forwards to her classes every week, and even misses a birthday party or two to attend.nnOver the years we’ve done holiday programs, had birthday parties and enjoyed many of the Fun Nights at EKGA, would highly recommend!nnI took the leap from parent to Coach 4 years ago, and am so grateful for the training, the support and the safe environment I get to work in each week. My son is now apart of the junior coaching program at EKGA, where he is being taught workplace skills and learning the fundamentals of coaching kids.
