I love their stuff and it's not even expensive compared to other furniture shops, however they never have any stock of anything. I know it's COVID times and what-not, but if you buy something from ES, it seems standard to wait 3-4 months for your stuff. Most other places usually have some stock even if it's in another store or it comes in more quickly. Still, both times I have purchased from here I have not been in a hurry and I just wait until it comes in. At least you can pay and reserve it for when it does arrive.
Great service from one of the ladies, I think her name was Laura. She was very informative and helped organise our order. However, given it was the weekend there only seemed to be two staff members on. It did not seem fair to the girls working as they were very busy, and doing their best to help everyone but it was clear more staff were needed.
The worst customer service In my entire life . Understand staff shortages completey . The 'acting manager ' should be fired . The customer in front of me left after a price quoted then not fulfilled. She went next door and spent a lot more than the average customer. I spent over and hour trying to get a refund on products ordered and paid for in august that were to be collected today. But they had made an error . Next year possibly January I was told.Another gentleman customer. Was also overcharged by $ 50 and queried it . Wow ...big mistake sir . It was like he was demanding all the days takings. Appalling.
I would not recommend the Clover range, looks good online but the quality is very poor.. I purchased 11 items and had an issue with 6... I've spoken with over 8 different people, everyone is 'very sorry' but really couldn't care less and the manager is never available... I have emailed all the details and will now have to take the matter to consumer affairs... I do not recommend
I ordered items back on October 2021. A few items were ready and delivered in a timely manner and the other we were told had to be ordered in. Over and over we were told it's coming its delayed again and again given excuse after excuse. First told February then March then May then June then July ! Called last week and was told by a staff member that my item had arrived in the country and should arrive in a few weeks only to be given another email saying its delayed until SEPTEMBER. I called the store and the team member told me they had no details saying it was in the country, so now the staff just lie to you to get you off their backs on items you PAID for. They make sure you pay UPFRONT they have their money yet the buyer is left with nothing! Spend your money elsewhere don't even bother with Early Settler you'll will only be taken advantage of!
We visited your store twice and both times were served by very friendly staff. We returned, after visiting many other stores, purely because of the great customer service we received. We purchased to beautiful Arm Chairs and Tianah was just lovely and very helpful.

Zero stars!!!! Buyer beware! Ordered a dining table in October. Was told it was definitely in stock in Melbourne and would be here by mid December. Hadn't heard anything so I went back to the store and again was reassured by the person who initially took the order that it was on its way! Still no sign one week before Christmas so I called the store and the manager said good news the table has arrived in Melbourne! So from the minute the order was taken the shop assistant lied by assuring me the table was in stock when in fact it hadn't even left India! Disappointing and appalling customer service to get a sale! The manager tried blaming Covid but there is no excuse for lying! Hence the table never arrived and I was told it would be here in mid January! Got my deposit refunded and will never purchase another thing from Early Settler again! it
They have nice products but that's where is ends. The service is terrible, they have no respect for the client. I purchased dining table in September and was told delivery will be mid November. They then moved it to mid December and even further to mid January. 4 months for delivery!!! Did not offer any other solution or discount other then just simply cancel my order and refund mu deposit without caring how much I needed a table for when I ordered originally.
Waited over 7 weeks for an outdoor dining set table to arrive. Removalists forgot one of the boxes and had to come back twice to my place. Went to build the table and a key part was damaged as well as two pieces missing. Now told I have to wait 7-10 days for the customer care team to get in contact with me before a solution can be provided. Very poor.
