I made booking through a third party and the car was for DriveNZ. Since I have not received any confirmation, contacted the Drive NZ on the day before the booking start. After several calls they confirmed the booking. On the day of my booking I was present in the address to pick up the car but unfortunately they didn't have the booked car for me to pick up. Also, they were not available non of their phone numbers were answering. I even found out that they knew the car was not available and they didn't they didn't tell me.  At the end I ended up getting car from an alternative company for my experience. It was quite frustrating and other than additional costs,  it made more than 3 hours delay in my schedule.  I am not satisfied and very disappointed from their serviceand and I neverrecommend them. .

Do not book with Drive NZ. Their customer service is disgraceful.  They gave me a car with the biggest dent in the back and scratches all over the place. When I raised it they said l: "Drive NZ aims to keep our fleet in an exemplary state, but unfortunately fell short this time round." and "All of our Yaris’ were booked out at the time and we were reluctant to downgrade you to an older vehicle.". Who downgrades a customer?!?! Supposedly they didn't have time to repair the car and didn't think for a split second to offer a discount for either a massively dented car or a downgraded vehicle when I picked it up. Then they had the audacity to say "We cannot offer you a refund but I would be happy to offer you a 30% discount off your next booking if you chose to give us another go." -&gt; NEVER!  They also didn't bother trying to contact me when I was a no show I booked the car a day early, they didn't care for a minute.  Supposedly this bad service was justified because it's a busy period... But it wasn't, it was the weekend before Easter; I can't even imagine what their service would be during the Easter weekend or over Xmas... This company should certainly not operate.

Won't reply to emails, didn't supply snow chains even though they were booked. Still charged us for snow chains they didn't supply. We were not informed of lackof snow chains untill we had already signed paper work. Use a third party site and people so you can't even talk to anyone face-to-face. 3rd party obviously refuses to take any responsibility so you are left high and dry. Thanks for wrecking absolute havok on my holidays.

This company is full of cheaters. They kept my entire deposit money and in spite of multiple requests, did not provide any proof of damage. Don't fall for the trap. They might have cheaper prices, but rental cars in dilapidated state or worst customer service ever.

Great rates and friendly staff 2 months later...hidden cost or Dirty hidden costs  Try to charge again to "security card"..do not trust them

Amazing experience! Very friendly staff and quick service. Amazing car and excellent experience! Highly recommend Bargain car rentals!

Great service here. Staff are lovely & frie day. Nothing's a hassle.
