Overall experience was nice. Just few suggestions; 1- I booked 2017 Toyota Corolla. When the car was being handed over to me it was all covered with morning water drops which makes the car appear to be more new. When I left for home and parked it at my house the car's body got dried off and now the old scratches were showing. This kept me a little worried that Omega rentals might say I did it. But thankfully, on my return nothing such happened. The car was taken and bond was refunded. 2- When I booked the car I entered pickup and drop off place to be Auckland airport. I was not aware that I have to pickup the car from the office near the airport. 3- Since Omega Rentals doesn't have office at the airport, they should put a note near pickup and drop off section on the web so that people clearly know from where to pickup the car. I know you have shuttle service but not everyone will come from flight to pick the car. 4- The car's wiper rubber need replacement. It wasn't wiping well. 5- Rest was all fine. Car drive as smooth and comfortable. Staff was welcoming, friendly and explained all necessary information.
Omega Rental Cars logo has "Upfront and Honest" on it. My dealings with them easily confirm that is true. I communicated my requirements to them in advance of my trip & they responded promptly to all my queries with clear and concise answers. The booking was a seamless process on the phone I refuse to give credit card details by email. I picked up the car from Omega in Auckland and returned the car 10 days later in Wellington. I then picked up another car in Christchurch and returned it 9 days later in Queenstown. At all 4 locations the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Quick, polite and prompt they made the experience of picking up and dropping the vehicles a pleasure. The vehicles were clean and tidy and performed well through out our trip. We had a hybrid which was really economical with the fuel. I was extremely happy with their vehicles and staff. I had a hassle free holiday thanks to Omega. Easy to recommend them after such a fabulous experience at 4 different locations.
Lovely lady collected us from the airport, took all our details and gave us the car. She was nice and chatty asking if we needed to know anything about the area or had we been there before. Quick service at reception. Car was nice and clean ready to go. Travelled well and was very economical on fuel. Service was excellent when we dropped the car off also. Great company to deal with. Definitely will use Omega again
I decided to rent from Omega Rental Cars after reading their amazing reviews. Absolutely no regrets. The way they handled everything was perfect. Pick up from the airport was fast. The staff were really friendly, especially Alanna. Not the newest Rav4 that we were expecting but the car served us well for the entire two weeks. Not a single issue. Even the car return was handled smoothly. Would definitely recommend them.
Absolutely great pickup service from the airport terminal. When we got to the office, we wanted to change the length and times of our booking, but nothing was a problem. The car was great and very economical. On return it took about 4 minutes to complete the return and we were once more whisked away to the airport by the shuttle. Great experience.
Right from the time you book, till you pick up and then drop the car, you feel like someone is always there to help if needed. Most of the times car hiring can be really stressful when the people on the other side of the table only care about their business and money. On the other hand Omega truly believes in making your NZ experience memorable and hassle free. You always get response from their customer service and you always feel like you are dealing with people who care rather than robots. The car they gave us was too well maintained and we had the best time of our lives thanks to Omega. I would also like to thank Alana who had been helping us in every step since we had a after hour car collection. Omega, you truly are as beautiful as your country. Thanks, Ash & Sadhana
Superb experience with Omega Rentals Christchurch. We didn’t have to wait long for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Joseph was a star as he noticed that our family wouldn’t fit in comfortably in the car we hired and gave us an upgrade free of charge! Excellent customer service and made our trip to Christchurch hassle free. Would use them again and would recommend them 100%!
The staff were really helpful and professional. They were accommodating when there was a change in our pick up time from the online booking and helped us from having to pay an extra day of rental. The car we got was very fuel efficient and comfortable. Would definitely recommend them if you're looking to rent a car in Christchurch.
Super easy to get to the rental shop. Car ready to go on arrival. Admin process very easy and the after hours return 4am!!! was very easy also. The staff all had a friendly smile on their faces even at that hour of the morning. Well done Omega, I will be a repeat customer
I have been hiring a car from Omega Rentals for a number of years. I find the staff very helpful and friendly. There is not a long wait if being picked up at the Airport, when arriving within hours, and after hours, for transport to the pickup area. The cars have all been well maintained. The rates are very competitive, with other Rental Companies. I wouldn`t hesitate hiring again from Omega Rentals, when next in NZ.
