Caring, patience and supportive- best describes the team of doctors, and receptionists at the Station medical centre. I have been attending this clinic for the past few years and wouldn't trust any other clinic with my medical issues. I've always had a good experience with the receptionist Sandra who understands my need to see a doctor and is always ready to fit me in depending on the level of urgency. I also observe the same behaviour being followed with regard to other patients, both over the phone and in person at the clinic. I would highly recommend this clinic.
Dr Radha Sivakumaran was the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. I had a mouth condition to which I’m receiving treatment for now, when I went to her for help she wouldn’t even look in my mouth and dismissed me suggesting I go to an endocrinologist. This was a common condition and easily treated with medication yet she refused to look in my mouth, I haven never been to such a useless doctor with zero care factor. I wouldn’t waste my $ paying a copayment for someone who is this dismissive and arrogant. This is not just my opinion this is fact!
Had to wait for 30minutes just get that rude attitude. I get that you must have had busy schedule or hectic day but that's not the way a doctor starts the conversation. Never met some Doctor neither any staffs I have encountered, so rude ever in my life. Never gonna be visiting ever again.

I have attended this practise 3 times, on each occasion I have waited over 40 minutes, on Friday my appointment was at 11:15 am and at 12 pm I had to leave as I couldn’t wait any longer. On the basis I receive an appoint confirmation to confirm I will be there and on time, why is it not possible at the time of booking in the receptionist to indicate how long the wait will be. It is not because the receptionist is too busy, as for a prolong period I was the only one there.
The best Doctor “Ever” in Sydney and whom I first consulted with in Castlehill at the Piazza many years ago. Dr Neil Cavanaugh has always shown empathy and genuine understanding, a calm demeanour and sense of humour has always put me at ease and has offered sensible advice when faced with serious medical and other issues and he hasn’t changed at all in the years I’ve known him. He’s always been incredibly kind and cares about everyone with any medical problems and will ensure to provide the most appropriate referrals when needed. He’s followed through whatever medical tests if concerning while giving a complete explanation of any results or medication advice and potential interactions. Definitely won’t take time wasters and has been tough when needed but one of the few Drs who would endeavour to find the most appropriate specialist if needed and would make a hospital referral if a serious medical issue arose. He’s never been judgemental in any way towards me and has always been direct and straight forward about health issues and risks etc. It’s been very difficult as a Pensioner not knowing where to go and turned away from others and often had misdiagnosed physical medical conditions for mental health... Several years ago Dr Cavanaugh has had a full understanding of medical errors in records and has emphasised not to regurgitate past issues that are hurtful especially when trying to recover from serious medical and other issues. The Northern Sydney Suburbs and Castlehill have definitely lost the “best of the best” and really wish he was still in Sydney and could do Telehealth from QLD especially to help with healthy weight loss goals and overcoming set backs along the way. Dr Cavanaugh really understands mental health and will do his best to help with any complex issues and weight management and encouragement including female health issues. He’s never been a walk in and out Dr and was able to refer me onto a wonderful Dr in Castlehill who I’m grateful for. Thank you Dr Cavanaugh and wish you the very best. Any Practice would be privileged to have you there as part of a great team. NSxx
Negligent and unhelpful service!!! I booked my jab appointment on the phone last week. The staff told me my appointment was 'Next Monday at 9 am' which is today. When I attended the clinic, they checked on the system for my name. They asked me if I was working around in this area. I said "Yes". They said that my appointment was "Next Monday". I am very confident in hearing the staff on the phone told me last week that my appointment was "Next Monday which is today." They asked me to complete a form and send me away. A customer will not attend the appointment at a specific date and time unless they are told. When I asked if I could receive the jab today. They told me "No Astrazeneca" today. I asked how about Pfizer. They said it was for people below 40. I was very disappointed because I made a special arrangement at work to turn up for the jab. They don't respect and care customer's and their employer's time. No apologies! No helpful solution! Not even offering to call me if there is a chance to get a jab today should there is any cancellation given I work around in the area. Their culture is "Don't Care! Don't bother!" It reflects on poor management. I totally lost confidence in this clinic for any medical consultations.
In a nutshell: Dr David Pick is the best GP I ever came across, so I have been going back for 25 years+ . In my view a GP is the most important doctor you need. I see Dr Pick as my "health consultant", very analytical, calm, approachable, explains well and unbiased i.e. has no conflict of interest like some specialists! I think this country needs more GPs like Dr Pick. He could be a bit more punctual though.... anyway 5 stars!
I have been going to Station medical clinic now for 4 years and would recommend Dr. Radha as she is not only a great doctor but a great human being. The front desk staff is always helpful and respectful. My kids had taken the first Covid vaccine in Olympic park and we wanted them to take second vaccine at the clinic. I requested the receptionist to let me know if any slot for the second vaccine was available. With 2-3 days I got a call from The Clinic informing me that some slots were available and I could book the second vaccination at the Clinic.
Excellent! I had an appointment with Dr. Mah and it was wonderful. She is very professional and easy to talk to. She quickly decided what to do with my issue and diagnosed a secondary thing while I was being reviewed. She also checked on me after I had my blood test, which I did not complete due to feeling unwell, and she gave excellent recommendations re: what to do next, what medication to use. The staff are very friendly. The pathology team is professional and patient. Overall, I look forward to going back and having Dr. Mah as my regular doctor. I would definitely recommend this clinic as well as my doctor. One thing to note, its a bit hard to find. If you go to the Metro and then up to the Woolworths, go up another story and go to the end overlooking the stairs leading up to where the markets are held. There is a fair bit of signage to help guide you!
