Its a great facility. It has everything you need.  A gym, classes, swimming pool and spa. It is family friendly and a very good place for kids as they have so many classes for them. They could do better with ventilation though as it gets hot inside. The staff are friendly. It is a bit pricey though so check for any promotions.

I've been a member for over 25 years. Whilst it's a well-kept local secret versus other more expensive gyms, the one and only true disappointment is that it closes early on the weekend 6pm with 5.30pm warning and isn't open on public holidays, which is a real shame as that's when most people with busy lifestyles can find the time to relax and actually go to the gym!! A little counterintuitive and certainly not very customer-focused.

I have been at the Parkdale gym off and on for some time. My personal, and wife's experience is that the gym instructors do not interact with members at all they always seem to be just siting at the desk playing on the computer.  I'm at the gym for about and 1 hour 3 days a week .  We have never been made to feel welcome at the gym by the so called gym instructors individually they have never asked me or my wife what was our objectives , to get fit, weight loss , would we like a programme made up etc, there are a number of gym instructors there it makes me wonder why they need so many . Are the instructors professionally trained if so  they lack client interaction and service skills. I have brought this up with the gym management before but as it is a Council sponsored facility nothing was done.  Steve Mirams

Clean & friendly environment. Wide range of equipment in good condition. Plenty of parking space. Good swimming pool but could be very busy at times. Large spa

We had an enjoyable swim. Clean and not crowded. Friendly helpful staff. Good change rooms with hot showers.

Very welcome and friendly stuff. Well maintained facilities and clean areas. One of the best in town.

Great facilities and ample parking. Small cafe I side and they do dance classes for small kids and seniors

Small but well run leisure centre. Gym never seems very busy.

Has lots of lanes reserved for lap swimming which is good. Wife goes for the sauna and jacuzzi.

If you are closed, don't just put in on your website, please update over here too so to avoid people like me to show up infront of your door only to find out that you are closed, since you don't care about your google account, I'm sure you don't mind this one star from me.
