Through training hard and training smart we forge strong wills, strength of character, and a sense of self than can only come from daily challenging ourselves in our chosen art - BJJ, Muay Thai, or MMA.

At Dominance MMA we provide you with a positive training environment, passionate highly skilled coaches, top level facilities and the challenges to keep you and those around you improving and progressing. Combined with your own commitment and passion we ensure you get the absolute most from every moment training on the mat with us and off the mat as well!

Our boys have been part of Dominance MMA Thomastown since March 2018, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Lincoln’s approach to teaching, with a strong focus on safety and genuine care for each student, creates an environment where the boys can learn and grow with confidence. Over the years, we’ve seen them develop maturity, trust, and respect and not just in their training, but also in the way they interact with others at Dominance. Ivan has also been a fantastic support, reinforcing this positive, encouraging environment. We are so grateful to the team for the impact they’ve had on our boys’ lives.
What an incredible environment! Was a bit scared coming back to bjj after 2 babies back to back but at Dominance, I’ve been welcomed into the club with open arms.nnReally great coaching and warm friendly environment.nnHighly recommend for anyone in the area to come and train with legends whilst having fun.
Dropped into Dominance Thomastown on multiple occasions for various BJJ classes while in Melbourne visiting family. The guys were super welcoming and the mat is very high level. The technique was excellent, the people were incredibly friendly — honestly, the friendliest bunch of savages you’ll ever meet — and the overall vibes were awesome. Such a fun and enjoyable place to train. I’ll definitely be staying in touch with Linc and the rest of the team and can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Australia. If you’re in the area, or anywhere near, definitely drop in — you’ll love it!
If u want to learn Jiu Jitsu that s definitely the place to be. The coaches are amazingly skilled and they are all competitors which makes Dominance one of the top team in Australia. I love to be here and I want to thanks all the coaches for the amazing job and for the sharing of the knowledge . Friendly people friendly staff . And the best training you can get
I’ve been training jiu jitsu at Dominance Thomastown for 4 years. I’ve found it provides top tier coaching, structure and culture which help consistently develop your skills in the art itself as well as in competition. I went through a period where i almost had to leave because my work hours had changed and i couldn’t make as many classes. I started looking elsewhere and doing trial sessions at other gyms that might suit. It wasn’t until that point that I had realised how much of a gem this place is and that I just could not leave. Each class is executed with structure, purpose and progression with a bigger picture in mind at a level that other places can’t compete with. Linc, Ivy and all involved are a wealth of knowledge, experience and extremely welcoming. The culture is undeniably positive and supportive. Jiu Jitsu is hard work mentally and physically. You bring in a decent work ethic and this place will complement it at a level other places won’t get anywhere near.nnThank-you legends!
