Discovery Cycles - Growing our cycling family

Story

Established in 2005, Discovery Cycles is a family owned and operated business located in Cairns, Queensland. Growing up right next to the world-renowned Smithfield Mountain Bike Park, owner Larry and his brothers grew up as avid riders, and a firm part of the local riding community. For this reason, Discovery Cycles constantly seeks to grow its riding family and be, not just a business, but something people can be a part of. Discovery Cycles does this by being a socially responsible business that actively contributes to the local community. Over the last decade, we have developed a strong community standing through our charitable support of local school events, community projects, and non-for-profit clubs.

Discovery Cycles operates two separate retail stores, one in Cairns and another in Smithfield, as well as an online store. Our Cairns store is conveniently located in the CBD, while our Smithfield store is only two kilometres from the famous Smithfield Mountain Bike Park. Our third store is online, where we sell high quality cycling products to our customers all over Australia.
