Story

Curly Joe’s, at 892 Nicholson Street Fitzroy North, previously in Sydney Road Brunswick, was established in 1992.

It soon became a favourite Italian Institution with Melbournian’s, for many years, winning several people’s choice awards and even rating a mention in Mietta’s Good food Guide all those years ago. Also included Curly Joe’s in Maribyrnong, established in 2002.

After 18 years the Curly Joe’s signs have come down in Brunswick and Maribyrnong as the last original owner bids farewell and says goodbye. And have no affiliation with either premises.

It’s the end of an Era…

We would sincerely like to thank each and every one for being so loyal and dear to us over the years.

Curly, himself, is still around, and has been operating Curly Joe’s Express in Nicholson Street, Fitzroy North since 2007.

The quality and hospitality are the same, but it moves at a faster pace.
