Just took the family for a meal out, turned out to be disastrous! Think we got ripped off too. I spent $83 for 2 burgers, chips, one chicken meal and the skirt steak with some drinks! The food apart from the chips was served cold. Cold vegetables, cold steak and lukewarm chicken! The steak listed under hot food menu was char-grilled skirt steak. It was served almost raw and cold. The cook said it was meant to be served cold and rare, I said it doesn't say that on the menu. So he recooked it to medium. My sons ordered the beef burgers, all was okay until we looked closer at the beef pattie, red raw on the inside, not cooked properly at all. We left shortly after with plates still full, i hope you take notice of that and ask yourself why? We will be lucky to see out the night without food poisoning after this experience. Such a shame as i was excited to take my family here as i had been having great lunch meals from this place recently, although totally different chef, seems like that could be the problem. The chef on tonight clearly did not know how to cook in my opinion, and if you're going to do this job, try showing up considering how your sweaty appearance looks to customer! Awful night dining here!

We have been here a few times and have recommended it to our friends. The chicken was well cooked and falling off the bone.the stuffing and roasted vegetables are a stanout as is the salads. Serves are generous we will be back as it is a great spot for a quick feed

Next level rolls, shared the roast of the day (pork) roll and the schnitzel. Amazing meat, properly seasoned, fresh slaw and gravy. We also had a raw couscous salad that has brought flavour to a healthy option. Complimentary house made hot sauces, need I say more

I was craving roast chicken and found this place online. I was not disappointed and it was exactly what I was wishing for. The roast chicken was moist and tender with a charcoal flavour and the veggies were cooked to perfection. So grateful they serve free range Bannockburn chickens. Can't wait to try the gratin next time! I will be a regular!
