Always fab service, food and atmosphere.
The seafood salad was DELICIOUS!! Staff were friendly, a lovely quiet and relaxing Sunday afternoon lunch.
The service was friendly, the entree bugs and scallops was great. The steak was over cooked on the edges whilst cold and bleau in the middle. The vegetables were horrid. Old, stake broccoli boiled to death, with bland booked carrots and a small watery tasteless corn on the cob. The steak was 42 dollars, at 10 it would have been expensive. The last point. The place is like an echo chamber. It is very difficult to hear people sitting next to you due to the poor acoustics of the room. Really was not good.
The bar area is nice and modern with a good range of local beers, open area but always very noisy. Restaurant serves decent food and has quiet and extensive menu with most of what we ordered served in a timely manner and was well presented. Sort of higher end pub food just with a price that's just a bit to high. Will come back again to try more.
Atmosphere was pretty good. I ordered Bug and chicken nuggets, bug wasn't very fresh, was a bit tough/chewy. Bar selection looked good and location was good but not much parking. Staff are very busy so service is rushed but understandable.
I have heard great things about Crown On Palmer, however our experience as a group was poor. We ordered an entree and also our main meals to arrive 30 minutes later. Our main meals arrived before our entree, which in itself, took over 45 minutes. When we made the enquiry, it had not even been seen by the chef, as the ticket had been lost on transit. Our main meals were incorrect, and of poor standard. I understand that it is busy on a Saturday night. I find it hard to understand how a waitress can't even record the correct order or have a our meals come out in order, i find this service unacceptable. I will say, that the young man working behind the bar was fantastic, and also offered alternative suggestions to our drinks order. I was very impressed with his knowledge and attitude.

Dined there on a Sunday night 24th September, nice and quiet however there was a table of approximately 20 near us. Very long wait for food and when the food finally came out it came at the same time as the big table next to us. Food was extremely cold my child could not eat his chicken nuggets as they were over cooked and cold. None of us finished our meals. Went up to the counter to talk to the cashier, next to the counter was the manager at the food pass they offered 25% off our bill to which I agreed to just to get out. Upon paying for the bill I overheard the manager speaking to the cook, I overheard the cook say "tell him to come here and cook it himself", I pointed out to the cashier I could hear what he was saying. Absolutely disgusting food and service, never will I go back or recommend, food is way over priced.
