About
Seasoned is one of Townsville's premier restaurants. It also has an extensive wine list, with wines sourced from all over Australia and Overseas.
Story
In the creation of Seasoned, we wanted to design a new outlook as to how restaurants are perceived. By using four common elements, the thought behind the philosophy of Seasoned grew.
The name in itself acts as a pun, to ‘season’ the food it creates and to witness all four seasons in one.
The restaurant’s first element is its aesthetics; to lure your eyes to gaze on the four seasons simultaneously. Summer, autumn, winter and spring. The next element is creation, creation, allowing us to create the food we plate. The third element is service. With the use of knowledgeable staff we hope you enjoy your dining experience. Lastly atmosphere, the combination of the diner’s emotion and experience, the love of food and wine, and the sensation of sitting in one, of four themed rooms.

A unique fine dining restaurant in Townsville! Seasoned is a gem when it comes to food choices as it has menu items that you wont find in other restaurants in Townsville. The food that comes out is like art on a plate and the taste is constructed perfectly in every dish. The service is as expected from this type of restaurant with staff being attentive and friendly with every interaction however this visit was on a very quiet night. Overall Seasoned is a great option to satisfy an adventurous foodie but be prepared to pay the $$$ to get it.
Perfection, hats off to the Chef and the Maitre d’ !! Food is outstanding, service excellent. A great find after 1200 km’s.. Service 1st class Dietary requirements excellent, every care taken for me and my Coeliac needs, vegan & vegetarian have creative choices. Extensive meat options ... Wines & Cocktails are also well thought out. Thank you for a great night !
The food is always delicious! But the service can been a little average sometimes, it's usually good but a few times I have been it's been a little lackluster. A little pricey but the quality of food is usually worth it. Would reccomend and will be going back.
Great food and comfortable service. The food was cooked and presented beautifully. A great place for dinner.
Service was excellent and staff are very well trained to provide a high level of customer service. The front of house manager was very effective. The food was fresh but somewhat overpriced. In my opinion overall quality of the food did not justify the expense. Wine list looked very comprehensive and there is something for everyone. Only gets a low score because of perceived value on the night. 3 Star overall.
Had our Christmas Party at Seasoned this week. The food was spectacular I had the soft shell crab and the Atlantic Salmon which were both outstanding and cooked to perfection. Every person at our function raved about the quality of the meal. The service was exceptional, the staff every friendly give great advice and nothing is ever a problem. I will certainly be returning there many time in the future.
Top notch restaurant, always great quality. Nice ambiance and wait staff are friendly and quick to refill water or something stronger if you so wish. The menu sometimes seems a bit limited but I guess this can be a good thing for those who have trouble deciding - its all delicious so you can't go wrong either way. They can also do gluten free options which is great for coeliacs like my wife. We have been there half a dozen times over a couple of years and never had any issue with gluten contamination. Yes, it is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.
Townsville's number one restaurant in my opinion. It has superb service and a wonderful menu. The atmosphere is very enjoyable. Definitely a suggesting for a first date or to celebrate an anniversary. If you phone ahead they will do special desserts for your special occasion.
It is worth mentioning that the food is quiet expensive and the serving sizes are not big: This place gets very busy, and it's almost impossible to move around when it does. While I understand the food here is of a high standard, it's not necessarily designed for people who are hungry. If only the oversized plates and fancy presentation, matched the physical serving size. The food took so long I ended up going across the road to Nando's for an entree. Staff are friendly and more than patient with your dietary needs.
Fine dining type restaurant, with internal,,external seating. Small menu compared to other similar places but food excellent, starters like fried Camembert and Ciabatta with dips very large and should be shared. Steaks cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and helpful $75 head 2 courses and drinks
