One of the best places to watch the footy in town, genuinely friendly staff and great atmosphere. It is a people's choice as top pub and a great place for a delicious feed. The parking here is a major let down, as the Sahara desert out the back rarely has a space during the peak hours. Especially on a weekend evening. I'd recommend this as your first stop in town if you are visiting.

Good for a cheap meal, particularly if you get one of their special nights. However, we went in a group of five people, all ordered the parmigiana special, and my husband's meal was completely forgotten about for almost an hour. Even after chasing it up with several staff members, they kept bringing out the same meal to other tables, and put his back on the bottom of the queue.

Terrible food. All deep fried, salad covered in dressing. The 'special' was $18 and consisted of deep fried crumbed lamb cutlets, chips and salad. This meal made me feel ill. People I was with got chicken parmi's and they were truly terrible - tasted like there was some cleaning chemicals on the cheese. No sauce or gravy and we were told if we want tomato sauce it will be an extra $1.50 because they lose hundreds on sauce! Cheapest thing on the menu was burgers at $16 but we were told they are only for lunch. Didn't have any calamari or muscles despite them being part of two separate meals on their permanent menu and them being situated in close proximity to seafood outlets.

Tuesday nights they have 10$ steaks with Idaho potatoes and salad. Just a bit extra for some sauces.. they are great. Highly recommend.

Had to wait one and a half hours for my pie and there didn't seem to be that many people there. Did taste nice when it finally arrived
